Chao looked at Yitian, who nervously played with his own hands. He wanted to him and nobody would destroy the feeling they have between them. So, now, it was the time.

"He is my boyfriend, lover. Yitian is someone I love," Chao said finally after a long time of silence that ensured. But after he said it, the silence continued.

Yitian was gripping his shirt tightly, and his father was staring at them with an impenetrable expression. Chao kept silent because he wanted to know if his father was okay with them. He needed the assurance that he could take in their relationship and wouldn't try to break them up.
