บท 2: 2. Next Step
I woke up to sun light hitting my face. The burning in my chest was gone. Neither My mother or father never came for me so I headed back to find them. I first came across torched earth it was in a perfect circle in the middle lay a women. The closer I got my stomach knotted and fell into the depths of me I didn't know existed, it was my mother. With a dagger sticking from her chest and a look a pure horror on her face, but her eyes, her will haunt me to the end of my days. They were burned from her once beautiful happy face like someone had burned her from the inside out chard and black. I pulled the blade from her chest it has plunged in her heart. It was thin but heavy the blade was as long as my forearm it spiraled around it's self. Etched in the blade a strange writing on it in a language I didn't Know, it looked ancient the hilt was large for my hand, but it fit comfortably it to had strange markings. I couldn't leave it in her like that beside she was an angel and immortal what could possibly be strong enough to kill her. I had to find out. I would carry it with me from this point on.
I continued to where the car had been flipped over only to stop dead in my tracks before I even rounded the car. when I saw the leg of a grey haired wolf. There was no mistaking it no other wolf had that color fur that I have ever seen. I pushed myself to move round the car with my eyes closed the bile in my stomach rose as a felt my self stepping over what had to be body parts, I had to get to the driver side of the car. With my hands out I felt my way around what I thought too be the front of the car. Only to trip and fall over something that was solid but soft and land into a puddle of thick sticky liquid. Instantly I knew it was blood nothing else has that metallic copper smell. I open my eyes to the Face a huge grey haired wolf missing half it's lower body and from the looks of it it's heart.
"Get to the car, get to the car."
The voice in my head was screaming over my own. Pushing my self from the ground I ran to the destroyed car. In it I grabbed my bag And in the back my father always keep a survival kit grabbing it I found my self back in the front looking for the gift they had given me earlier at dinner a locket in the shape of a full moon with our family's picture on one side and on the other an engraving once again in a script I couldn't read but my mother told me it meant,
"Sun of the moon, Star of the night, Light of the darkness"
A charm bracelet with 6 different symbols I didn't Know. my mother said she would explain in time but know it's to protect me and lastly a silver ring with an ornate design and an amazing dark blue stone that had little silver specs in it making it look like the night sky. After I grab it my running truly started.
I ran keeping to my self all I had was Aurora my wolf. Over the next few years I started to develop my powers one of the first things was shifting. I put it off for so long scared of the pain scared of giving Aurora complete control. When I finally did it was the best feeling in the world the freedom we had was indescribable.
My wolf was pure white not as large as my father but still larger then the average, because if the alpha blood that ran through me. She had pure golden eyes that practically glowed, she was stunning. Then you have me who's a bit less then stunning in my mind. My skin was pale it stood out even more against my dark crimson red almost black hair, that flowed to my waste. My eyes are wide with thick dark lashes and had a light blue color that looked white with flex's of what looked red. I stood about 5'5 I was on the curvy side flat stomach but I was more well endowed in other places. Full lips and a small rounded nose.
" Solaris your beautiful now let's get moving!"
" AURORA you scared the crap out of me"

" I'm going I'm just nervous we have never done anything like this before there's going to be so many humans."

She had point I have had her to talk to sence my life fell apart. Then I met Micah he was just another lost soul I had come across, but he was very persistent in being what he calls my side kick. I guess it's part of my half-bred ability I can see things on the other side the good the bad. Mostly lost souls people usually move on to whatever is next but some get stuck and need guidance. Part of being a pureblood Lycian is helping those lost souls and keeping the nasty scary things that go bump in the night in hell where they belong. My problem being part angel they can use my essence my light to gain a foot hold in the real world the mortal plan.
Found that out the hard way in the being when I first started running I came across what I call silks. Wispy black creatures that just float along looking like your cliché reapers. Except there cloaks look the black silk they have no faces or body's. When u come face to face with one its like looking in to an empty black abyss that brings any fear, horror, or sadness to the surface they literally suck the life from you. They are pure evil, scavengers you will find them in places where anything horrible happened like plagues, natural disasters it doesn't matter any thing with high death rates. They feed of the energy of the souls, but what they seek out most are the good ones the ones that have a natural purr energy they feed from there essence making it sometimes impossible for them to move on.
I haven't felt the burning in 10 years or seen any silks. So me and Aurora decided its time to try out collage. We maybe 60 years old but we look no older then yearly 20s I just stopped aging after my body fully matured. I decided to study history sence I plan on spending time having a more human life best to know their history. I also took a few other classes mythological and paranormal study's who knew you could actually study something like that.
