Lexine followed behind the men a little silently. The dress she was wearing swished with every movement she made.

Although she was not one to wear dresses, she could feel that this dress was made of high-quality material. She had walked quite a distance, but there was not even one wrinkle on the dress. However, the pair of shoes she was wearing were not in the slightest comfortable. She would slip or trip once in a while. However, none of the men who were directing her would stop or wait for her to get a grip of her bearings. On the contrary, it seemed that they were walking faster after each of her slip-ups.

However, Lexine did not dare complain. They did not dare open the door no matter how loud she shouted in the dark room. Why would they help her now?
