บท 67: Hostage 02

The old woman threw Aris' yesterday's clothed on his face. It has still the bloodstains from his wound. He touched his shoulder and felt nothing as if the injury never happened.

He sniffed his clothes and the Bane's scent lingered in his nose with a strong scent. This would definitely put a mark on his back for his assailants to see.

"Whoever was chasing you, they are still looking for you," she said, "Let it pass for a few days, or a week."

Aris frowned and clenched his clothes. He supposed could stay for a few days, he looked up and the old woman immediately expressed her disagreement.

"You find another plae to hide," she sneered at Aris as she placed her hand on the door, "I don't take in dogs."

She wasn't as distant as before. The cruelty of his kind's King made her heart cold.
