บท 49: Lilly

LILLY POV

I watch as my dad's face turns from relief to something that looks like joy and excitement. I know that my dad loves Jack almost just as much as I love him. I think that somehow he is replacing Jack with my mom as he is the one that he could save from that deadly illness.

Then he almost runs to me and hugs me tight. It is clear to me that I probably made his day. Then he makes his way over to Jack and I can actually hear how he squeezes the air out of Jack's lungs.

"I am so happy for you two. It is probably the best decision that you could have made. This definitely calls for something that we can celebrate with"

We could not even speak another word to him as he runs out to probably go and find something to drink and bring it back so we can celebrate. Jack then looks at me and says.

"I think it is safe to say that he is happy for us?"
