บท 135: Verdict

He sat on the railing of the rooftop, a satisfied smile was plastered on his face.

"Did you like my gift, Ava?" He murmured, imagining the stoic look on her face. He finds it intriguing how she had managed to keep her emotions in check.

He should not be too surprised though. Marcus Zephanie trained them well. He was so successful in achieving it that it was impossible to read through Avalyn and the rest of the crew. All in all, Marcus Zephanie had done something fulfilling.

He smirked. But no matter the good deeds that Marcus Zephanie had done, it doesn't cover the times he had dirtied his hands. 

Throwing back his head, he inhaled the somewhat fresh air. Seeing Avalyn in the flesh after a long time had brought a satisfied smile to his lips. Right at that instant, her name Avalyn seemed to suit her.
