บท 56: Witch's Memoir (4)

I checked on the girl again and brought in a dish of food. She was already awake when I came in.

Walking over towards her right at the edge of the bed she didn't do anything but just stare at me the whole time. I grabbed a chair that was in the room and sat on it looking at her. The food was for me so, of course, I ate it. The kid just kept staring at me without blanking.

Piercing into a part of sausage with my fork clunking on the plate I point the sausage at her while munching on the food.

"You want some?"

It didn't seem she didn't want any since she didn't even flinch when I put the sausage right through the barrier.

Her whole body starts to shake. Opening her mouth slowly she asked for something else.

"W-water." Her lips were shivering but it didn't seem like she was thirsty based on her body.
