I know I shouldn't be avoiding the situation since I'm the one who started it, but I'm too embarrassed by what I did last night. I don't think I have the nerve to talk about it. I still need time to process.
"I'm late! We can do it on Monday! Give Donner and Blitzen hugs and kisses for me!"
Sorry my dog children. Auntie Astra acted like a fool last night and now has to run away from all of her problems. I'll see you on Monday when I've had enough time to get over my embarrassment.
