บท 205: The Truth

Lady Anna rubbed the silk fabric of Bella's Mickey mouse pajamas against her cheeks, "Where did you get such a lovely material from? And who made these designs?" Anna asked as she handed the clothes to Bella and sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for her to dress up. 

"Uhm, my father got it from a merchant during a trip. I don't know where," Bella lied without meeting her gaze. She walked to one end of the room and quickly slid on the pajamas, and took off the gown she had woken up in. 

"I see. I wonder where he got it from. It must have been very expensive. Who is your father? Is he a Lord?" Anna asked curiously, but Bella could guess that what she wanted to know was probably her connection to Prince Ian. 

"Something of that nature," Bella said, hurrying to dress up so she could leave before Lady Anna asked more questions than she could answer.
