บท 161: Mom?

Nicole, who was in the bathroom, picked up a towel and quickly wrapped it around her as she hurried to the door excitedly when she heard the sound of the doorbell. Since she had locked the door from the inside, she assumed it was Ben since both his parents had left for the restaurant already, and he was the only one she was expecting. 

She was taken aback when she opened the door and saw her mother standing there instead of Ben. Vanessa Stone was dressed in a pristine white suit as usual, and her long black hair was clipped back away from her face in its usual twist. Her make-up was flawless, as always. Her overall appearance looked like she had just stepped out of a fashion magazine. Of course, she had been in the entertainment industry before meeting her husband and had given up modeling to be the loving and supportive wife of one of the richest men in the country.
