Bella covered Joan's hand with her own, "Relax, Jo. Don't panic," Bella said as she tried to come up with the best course of action to take.

"Bell? What do I do?" Joan asked, turning to look at Bella with frightened eyes and shaky hands. 

"Let's just wait it out in your car. I'm sure he will leave when he finds out you're not in the office yet," Bella suggested, but Joan shook her head. 

"I don't think so. Besides, what happens when he leaves now, and I go in, and then he comes back later when you're not here?" Joan asked without taking her gaze off the entrance of the company. 

"This is your personal space Jo; he can't do anything to you here. As long as you don't go anywhere with him, you'll be okay. Just relax, alright?" Bella assured her calmly.
