Dominique gritted her teeth as she watched the man slice into her daughter over and over. Makayla was crying but she wouldn't scream. She was growling and snapping at the man but that just made him smile. 

"You're a fighter. I like a fighter. Makes this so much more fun to break you. I think me and my friends might enjoy your company in other ways as well," he snickered as he cut across her breast. 

"If you value your life, you will not touch me. I am the daughter of an Alpha and the mate of an Alpha," Makayla spat. 

"Daddy dearest isn't a problem. He was finished off. Your mate obviously doesn't want you. He didn't mark you, his scent isn't on you, and I guarantee he isn't looking for you."
