บท 14: I'm sorry!!!

Hector Pov

"W-Where am I?..." I said looking around, I've never been in this place before…empty space?... I look forward squinting my eyes, I see a person, "Hey! Who are you? And where am I?" I ask the person, she looks familiar, she turned around, flashing me a smile, before I can run to her, I was brought back to reality. And I think I heard something from her, "…Find your true potential, and you shall see me again."

"What a dream…" I muttered looking at my ceilings. 'Find your true potential?... what is she talking about?', 'Who is she?...' these thoughts run through my mind, I feel like I've seen her somewhere…At the graveyard! Not only there, but I've also seen her more than one time. Then I remember something from my past.

Inside Hector memory,

"Hector! Come here!" I heard father call me, "be right there!" I reply, just about to run, I see a white-haired girl looking at my direction, smirking.

"That's it! She's that girl!" I said sitting on my bed, "She's alive! My eyes weren't joking!…" I said relief. "But. Why does Arkus did not see her? She's like in front of us that time." I said holding my chin then look out the window, "it's still night, I should sleep again." I mumble pulling up the blankets.

3rd Pov

The white-haired petite girl from Hector's dream appeared in His room, "c'mon, I'm getting bored dummy." She said her finger trace onto his cheeks, "I'm just gonna keep appearing until you realize then. I'm waiting~" she said before disappearing.

The next morning,

"God! What a good rest!" Hector groaned while stretching his body, meanwhile Zeolite walk downstairs with an exhausted look, "what's wrong?" Shion ask when noticing Zeolite exhausted look, "Can't sleep." Zeolite yawn, "see? You're drinking way too much coffee. I will have to cut your allowance by half." Shion sighs while flipping the pancakes he's making.

"Whatever." Zeolite reply, "Hector? Maple syrup?" Shion ask but no reply, "Hey, Hector!" Shion called, Hector blinks, snapping back into reality, "w-what?" he ask, "I was asking you whether you want maple syrup or not." Shion said putting down a plate of pancakes in front of the two. "Oh right, sure." Hector said, as Shion poured the maple syrup on Hector pancakes.

"How about you?" Shion ask Zeolite who had his eyes closed, "...Mhm…" Zeolite mumble, "open your eyes." Shion said before sitting down on his own chair. "Any new news about Zero?" Hector ask while munching on his pancakes, "no talking when food on your mouth. No, no news about him yet." Shion said shaking his head, "Damn it." Hector whine.

A couple of hours have pass, Hector has gone somewhere leaving Zeolite and the others.

"Oi, what's wrong with you?" Ashley ask poking Zeolite cheek, he is sleeping while in a sitting position, "…" no reply, an evil grins on her face, "Makseun! Give me your markers!" Ashley said putting her hand on the bar counter, "sure, what for?" Makseun asks while handing his markers to her. "You'll see!" Ashley grinned.

[Somewhere in the hill]

"Oh, Theresa! What are you doing?" Hector ask tilting his head, "hm? Nothing, just a little drawing." Theresa smile, "hee, can I see?" Hector ask plopping down beside her, "it's not done yet, but sure." Theresa hand him the drawing she made, "Whoa! You're so good at drawing! Is there something you weren't bad at?" Hector said impressed, Theresa is drawing the city scenery, the buildings, the guild, along with the sky. "Your flattering me. But thank you." Theresa giggles. "Seriously! You said this is not done yet, but I feel like seeing a masterpiece!" Hector continues to blabbing about how beautiful Theresa's drawing is.

"Master…I agree with you!" Arkus said wagging his tail back and forth. "It's nothing really." Theresa laughs, "Here! I would want to see it at their final state!" Hector grinned giving her back her drawing, "mhm! I'll be sure to inform you when it's done!" Theresa nod. "Yosh! I'm going to go for a bit! See you later!" Hector grinned running away.

"These two." Theresa smiles before returning to her drawing.

Hector and Arkus are having a running competition from the top of the hill until the bottom, with Arkus on his 2nd form, "Don't think you'll beat me just because your on 2nd form!" Hector shout with full confidence. "We'll see! I'm going to beat you again just like before!" Arkus taunt.

"Ha! You loser!" Arkus cheered while panting, "Your cheating!" Hector said panting, "what? Says the one using water spells!" Arkus slams his head on Hector forehead, "Who is cutting down the trees? You!" the two begin a head-butting battle.

"You two are being immature." A soft voice spoke, "huh?" the two immediately stops fighting and look toward the person who spoke, "Uncle Alex!" Hector grinned clinging to his arms, "Uncle Alex!" Arkus cheered transforming back to his usual form, jumping to his head. "Hello Hector, Arkus." Alex smiles patting the two head.

"What are you doing here? I thought your busy with the C.P.D.!" Hector said standing in front of him, "Well, my team is here to investigate something." Alex said, "is that so? What is the thing your investigating?" Hector ask his eyes gleaming, "it's a sensitive topic, I'm sorry." Alex said, as Hector groan, "lame!" He said.

"Oh, sir Alex!" Theresa said who just arrived, "Ah, Theresa! Good morning!" Alex said waving, "Hello!" Theresa said smiling before looking at the two. "What did you two doing? It's a mess." Theresa asks, "a little competition?" Hector said unsure how to explain to her, "try to be more careful later." Theresa said reminding them. "Yes ma'am!" Hector and Arkus said playfully saluted.

"So Hector, what is exactly going on with you two?" Alex ask in a joking manner, "What are you talking about? It's not like what you think!" Hector said a blushing a little, "Is that so? You two seem awfully so close." Alex said, "We're just friends sir Alex." Theresa said trying to clear the misunderstanding, "Mhm, alright. Oh, I have to go!" Alex said when he sees his team.

"That old man!" Hector groan, "We should go back." Theresa said, "Yea." Hector said following her.

When the two is in front of their guild, suddenly the door opens harshly, Ashley running away in fear, her face tells it all, 'sh*t I'm f**ked up.'. Behind her is a furious Zeolite, his face had some doddles in it.

"You idiot! Get back here!" Zeolite shout chasing Ashley, "I-I'm sorry! Forgive me!!" Ashley yelled in fear. "The hell did we just witnessed?" Hector sweatdrop, "ahaha…" Theresa laughs nervously.
