บท 89: PREPARATIONS FOR THE FEAST

Two weeks went by. Tomorrow will be the day of the feast so everyone seems busier than usual. The day was hectic for Lianno, for Lucy, for the servants, and for her as well.

She was helping in organizing the flowers throughout the whole area. The hall was massive, for all the people the royal family has invited to go. The farmers that Lucy has invited as a sign of appreciation for what they have done through the year.

It was hard, making sure that the flowers will not wither by the end of today. Choosing the finest, and at the same time, the most vibrant had been already hard. Thank goodness they told me they have a liquid here that will preserve the water for a couple of days.

It's a blue looking liquid stored in a cylinder glass with a cork covering the top. It was stored in a wooden box, with dead flowers lying beside it. I shook my head off to the side, how ironic that this was used for the preservation of lively plants yet withered plants are all over it.
