บท 57: Cold War

Chloe's POV

"Carter." Margaret glared at him. She was ready to throw daggers at him, if that made any difference at all.

I stood there awkwardly waiting for whatever storm was about to come down here. For a long time I wished he hadn't shown up. A part of me was dying to know what happened between them. Everytime they met was like a cold war, but no one had any idea why. 

Everything was finally going smoothly, now again things were about to be screwed up with Margaret, because of Carter.

"What are you doing here." She asked him with venom in her voice.

"What do you think." He smirked.

"Hey Margaret, he is one of our frequent guests. I am surprise you know him. This is so great". Antoinette smiled at her before turning to Carter. "Welcome back Carter, it's nice to see you back."

"Nice"? Margaret fumed with anger.

"What's wrong"? Antoinette asked her sensing her apprehension.

"This guy, he is the worst". She told Antoinette.
