He couldn't help his wanton desire to resurface again every time he became aware of their naked bodies tangling together in each other's embrace. 

As he stared intently at her, he realized that he didn't like that his mate had blacked out before she could reach the peak as he did. 

Apollyon frowned as he brushed the silver strands away from her porcelain face with his fingertips. 

Either way, he had to remember that it was his fault in the first place.

  He shouldn't have intoxicated himself with her blood up to this point even if the potent energy he had sucked from his mate had surged through him, inflating him like a balloon that was about to burst.
