I'm back.Sorry for the long wait, but I had some drama at home. Basically,my parents divorced and this fight hit my little sister pretty hard,so I had to come back home and stay with her and my old man.
Now,enough with the bad news.I want to thank O.Okorie for his support on patr3eon ,as for the release schedule, I'll try to write three or four more chapters this week and from the next Monday, the novel will have five chapters a week ,mostly Monday-Friday and from time to time I'll drop some bonus chapters or side stories if you will like that(Other POVs like Rick's POV,which will have an impact on the story )
If you want to read advance chapters ,you can visit my patr3on here (Fair warning that there aren't any advanced chapters yet) :https://www.patr3on.com/meatbunkun

The Station, Entrance zone
Andrew: Eric, you should take Jon with you. We shouldn't risk going outside alone. God knows how many volatile are out there waiting to kill us.
Eric: I'll take Jon with me. How's the hospital doing?
Andrew: We finished transforming the cells into a medical facility. Doug and Gale worked all night to find what weakness this volatile may have and besides the UV lights weakness that we found, we didn't find any new weakness, but we found that the brain of a sentient volatile is still has a part of its human side which will slowly die. We also compared the normal volatile with the sentient one which led us to confirm our theory.
Eric: Good, at least we now know that the sentient volatile is the first stage of the normal volatiles. I'll leave in one hour. Do you want us to find something for you?
Andrew: Well, if you can find some medical supplies that will help us a lot. Of course, food and water will also do. If you can find a freezer that still works, you can try to bring that back here.
Eric: We will look for these things. See you in a couple of days.
Andrew: See you later than and Eric, be careful.
Eric: Same to you guys, Atlanta has over 500.000 people living in it and god knows how many zombies are roaming in this city.
One hour later, I and Jon drive out of the Station's main entrance. The journey to Senoia should take us a couple of hours which was quite boring. What I like about Jon is the fact that he knows when to speak and when to keep his mouth shut. I learned from him how is life was before the apocalypse.
Apparently, he was from a sniper unit that was tasked with the protection of the civilians from terrorists that somehow made it in the USA. He also told me what he liked to do in his free time. He was a painter, well from what he told me, he was pretty bad at drawing, but this didn't let him abandon what he like to do even if his art was ugly.
He also told me that he liked to read novels and books about anything as long as it keeps him entertained.
This made me smile as I can't imagine this big man with glasses reading a book in a cozy couch with a cat or a dog on his legs.
I also told him what I liked and how my life was before the apocalypse. After I told him my life story he put his hand on my shoulder and said that he will watch my back as long as he lives.
Five hours later we arrived outside of Hershel's farm.
The place was very different from the last time I was here. The whole farm becomes a fortress with walls so tall that you barely can see the houses inside the property. Zombies will have a hard time breaching into this place; well maybe if they have volatiles in their attacks, they will have an easier time.
Just as we stopped in front of the gate, we discovered a rifle pointed at our car.
Man: Who are you and what do you want?
Before I could respond to the man, Jon told me that the man was in the tree with a rifle pointed at us. I knew that Jon was a good sniper, but I didn't even think that he would be able to be as good at spotting targets.
Eric: Eric Jarl, that's my name. I'm a friend of Hershel, the owner of this farm.
Man: Wait for a second.
After five minutes, the gate slowly opened and we saw Hershel, Otis, and Shawn waiting for us. The man that was in the tree was aiming hi rifle as us waiting to see if we really are friends with Hershel.
When we walked out of the car, I smiled at Hershel which made the old man sighed.
Hershel: Welcome back son. Who's your friend over there?
Eric: Glad to see all of you. This is my friend and also one of my best soldiers, his name is Jonathan.
Jon: Good day to you, sir.
Hershel: Come inside, we have to speak about what happened with you guys.
Inside the house, I, Jon, Hershel, Otis, and Andre (The sniper – ex-police officer from TWD Game season 1 – going at night option after Lee was found by Clementine) were standing in the living room.
Hershel: What happens with your group? We didn't find anything at Andrew's house.
Eric: Our, community grew too big to stay in one house. We had to move to a new place.
Otis: So that's why I didn't find anything at Andrew's house when I tried to find you guys.
Eric: Yeah. We found a nice place to call home. The place is secured and can't be opened from outside which is perfect for us.
Andre: It should be a nice place. Jon, right where did you serve before this disaster to happen?
Jon: I was a sniper and my unit was deployed here in Georgia to help to contain the virus. After an unfortunate event, I was saved by Eric and Paul.
Andre: How many of you are at your base? Why don't you come here?
Eric: Andre, you don't need to know how many of us are there, but you should know that almost all of my people have some sort of training and most of them are soldiers. So, please don't try to make this conversation awkward.
Hershel: Eric's right, his group is his problem. We are friends that's right, but that didn't mean that he has to reveal all of his secrets to us.
Eric: Thank you. Say, Hershel, how come you build a fort here?
Hershel : We got hit by a horde, two days after you left, fortunately, nobody was killed, but that made me see how bad the situation is. So , I talked with my family, Otis's family, and Andre's family about what to do to keep us safe, and after a long night, we decided to build a wall around our farm.
Eric: That's good for you. Did you guys meet the volatile?
Andre: Dark dwellers, strong and fast? Also, they are harder to kill than normal zombies? Yes, we meet them already.
Eric: Yeah, that's them. We killed a pack of them and I and Jon managed to kill a sentient one. The sentient one is just a freshly made volatile that has yet to become completely dead. Also, they are weak against strong lights and UV lights.
Hershel: That's good to know. Eric, Beth, and Shawn are waiting for you to greet them upstairs.
Eric: Thanks old man. Jon, at ease. See you in the morning.
