บท 21: Chapter 20: Zenith Magic Test (6/6) Battle Prowess Test
The barriers all collapsed, and the attack soon hit Yuki, causing a loud bang to echo throughout the training grounds. Whether they were students or professors, they couldn't help but tilt their heads toward the noise's direction.
Although Ryu's attack was powerful and could kill many Yuki at once, he held his attack back by a large margin to avoid getting her seriously injured. She would be, at most, just unconscious.
The ash cloud finally subsided as they saw Ryu carrying Yuki in his arms. Many students were shocked as they couldn't believe Ryu was actually making physical contact with Yuki! Yes, they were not surprised that she lost to Ryu since he showed his capabilities, but being able to touch Yuki is another thing.
Lilia wasn't even shocked, but seeing that the still fighting students stopped, she immediately shouted, "Students! Do not be distracted and focus on your battle!"
The students who heard that immediately followed and continued with what they were doing.
Ryu carried Yuki with an awkward smile on his face, seeing that many of the students went straight to staring at him holding her. However, he was not that bothered as he sat down and laid Yuki's head on his lap.
With a slight nudge on her forehead, Ryu cast healing magic to heal any injuries and restore her mana. Then, after a few seconds, he took a breath and just looked at Yuki's face.
'She's become even more beautiful than before. But I'm pretty sure she's single since she's cold and elegant. Boys are probably too afraid of approaching her. But… thinking about Yuki dating another man makes my blood boil.'
He then stared at the others, but before he could observe carefully, Yuki woke up. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Ryu, who had a wry smile on her face. Instead of acting like girls in anime, she calmly pulled herself up and sat beside him.
"I completely lost, huh…." She said as she arched her back outwards lightly while sighing. After a few seconds, she felt something that she had never felt for years. It was… the feeling of joy… perhaps. She then started laughing as she said, "Hahaha… that… was pretty fun…."
Some of the students who had already finished their mock battles were dumbstruck as they watched Yuki smile. They almost didn't believe their eyes! After all, they were diehard fans of Yuki, and they had never seen her smile, even once!
They were in awe of Ryu! They even started to treat him as a god in their hearts already!
Ryu was dazzled by her smile as he thought, 'She is truly a shining beauty.' He then laughed lightly as well as he heard Yuki say, "Thank you for the pointers, Mister Kamiyama."
He was slightly annoyed after hearing that as he looked her eye to eye and lightly nudged her head as he said, "This little girl can't even remember her best friend."
As he said that, Yuki's eyes opened wide. Her mouth couldn't help but gape while she held her forehead. "No way… Ryu… Is that really… you?"
"I guess you can barely recognize me, huh… It's really nice to be able to see you again, Yuki." Ryu smiled widely while Yuki's eyes wear teary. She then wiped her tears, pulled Ryu's arm, and hugged him.
The onlookers felt like they saw something that they shouldn't have witnessed. Their Goddess hugging a man! IT broke their hearts, but their admiration towards Ryu skyrocketed, and they even believed that Ryu was the God of Seduction!
"What the fuck!? Holy shit! This guy is fucking amazing. He's god, isn't he?!"
"Oh my fucking god… I can't believe my eyes."
"Am I hallucinating?"
However, some of the diehards were angry as they screamed internally, "Who does this guy think he is touching Yuki-sama… Yuki-sa..ma! Yuki-sama's body!"
Though, with no care in the world, Yuki tightened her hug while tears silently fell from her eyes. Ryu was happy and returned her embrace. Then, silently sobbing, Yuki whispered in Ryu's ears, "I thought you were dead… I thought I would never be able to see you again! I missed you… Ryu!"
Ryu's heart felt warm as he whispered in her ear, "I missed you too, Yuki, so much…."

The girls had also finished their duels with a loud thud as the results came out. Anna won against Toshiro, Aoi won against Mizuki, Hina lost against Kenji as expected, and both Nila and Kasumi and Emma and Elina's pairs ended in a stalemate.
Lilia observed Ryu and Yuki with a massive smile on her face. She couldn't help but slightly whisper, "Finally! That girl recognizes who that hunk is!"
"Lilia, why the fuck are you like this today." Chiyo was really annoyed by the fact that Lilia was acting like a horny teenager while on duty! "Act like your age, you horny woman!"
"Hahaha, Did I annoy an old hag who can't get laid?"
"Shut the fuck up."
"Geez, alright. I guess the students are already finished with their duels. I guess we could start the next phase of the battle prowess test."
Lilia then stood up, cleared her throat, and loudly said, "As everyone is finished with their mock battles against the other students who have similar power as you, we shall head on to the next test phase!"
Lilia walked down the stairs that Professor Chikafuji made and signaled him to make a large platform. He just nodded and pulled all the platforms together to make a large stage. Lilia then stood in the very middle of it and gazed at the students with dignity.
"All of you will come up and fight against me one by one. The order will be the same as earlier! Your battle against the other students is merely a warmup, and we'll now head on to the main test! Prepare yourself and come up to the stage!"
She then called each student one by one, initiating a 1v1 battle. Lilia held back a lot on the students who were just average compared to the students who got the top scores. They were barely even a problem for Lilia.
Although most of them will lose, especially with Lilia's impressive combat technique, and combat awareness, there was only a certain threshold that they needed to surpass to be able to enter the lowest grade, Infirma.
Most of the students should be able to reach Tettares, with only a few falling down to Infirma. Quite a few even reached Tertius, Dyad, and Arche grades.
Finally, it was Nila's turn. As Ryu watched Nila, he thought, 'Although she would definitely lose against Lilia, her strength right now is comparable to the Lilia three years ago. Perhaps she can even beat her if she faced her at that time, which is definitely a noticeable improvement.'
"You will fight me for two minutes; show me as many moves as possible. Professor Hironaka set the timer. Well then, come at me!" Lilia took a stance while facing Nila.
Nila then launched herself toward Lilia. Lilia had a solemn expression on her face. Although this was just a spar, Lilia took this seriously as she wanted her disciple to improve a lot more.
Green flames covered Nila's hands as she tried to claw Lilia. Lilia quickly reacted as she caught Nila's arm with her left hand, dodged, and sent a counter-attack. She hit Nila's stomach with a clean uppercut, causing Nila to stagger.
"Not bad, but you're too slow," Lilia said while rushing toward Nila. She didn't spare any time as she wanted Nila to experience the threat of a real battle. After all, your enemy will not wait for you to send an attack in a life or death situation.
Nila made a slight "Tch!" as she propelled herself with wind magic to avoid the attack, but Lilia anticipated that. As soon as Nila dodged, she sent a back kick enhanced with multiple buffs and followed it with an axe kick, causing Nila to hit the ground.
This was basically a battle using only hand-to-hand combat but with a few buffs, but as soon as Nila fell down, she immediately used a spell that made her invisible for a few seconds.
"That was a nice escape using illusion magic. Show me some more techniques!" Lilia beckoned Nila using a hand gesture, and with a smile, Nila used her green flames to envelop her legs and arms. It served as an attack speed and power buff, which made her a lot faster than before.
Nila swiped her arm downwards with all her strength, but Lilia simply blocked it with her arm as she cast an earthen ball and smothered it on Nila's chest.
This caused Nila to fly away from the force, and as she landed, she rolled a couple of times, but she forced herself to stop while looking at Lilia. She couldn't help but whisper, "Master is really strong!"
"Wisp of the Nine-Tailed Fox!" Nila said with a strong voice as she stomped on the ground. The moment her foot made contact with the ground, she immediately launched toward Lilia.
Green fox tails appeared in Nila's behind as she sent a barrage of attacks on Lilia. Lilia simply giggled while her mana condensed around her body as she evaded all the attacks, but one attack did hit Lilia, causing her to smile widely. "Well done!"
As soon as Nila ended her combo with a tired face, Lilia launched an attack.
Lilia's attack was like the flow of mana, smooth and serene yet powerful. The hit caused Nila to get winded as she fell to the ground, incredibly tired. Though, she had a smile on her face as she whispered, "I definitely improved a bit right, Master?"
"You definitely did!"
*BRRRIIIINGGGG* The timer sounded, and Lilia beckoned Nila to go back.

Emma's turn was next, and as the battle started, she enhanced her movement speed with wind magic and conjured some kind of translucent wind-type blade. She slashed her wind blade without hesitation, but Lilia dodged it and immediately sent a counterattack.
This situation clearly showed Emma's strength in quick decision-making as instead of attacking blindly, she made sure that Lilia's attacks wouldn't reach her as she was unarmed. Emma also took account of the range of her sword, making sure that Lilia wasn't out of range of her attacks.
Lilia then smiled as she said, "Since you're armed, I should also arm myself, right?"
Lilia then flicked her finger and conjured a spear made out of earth magic. With a few twists of her earth spear, Lilia took a stance and immediately lunged her spear toward Emma. Emma didn't hesitate to approach and attack Lilia, as the downside of the spear was the extremely close-quarter combat.
Ryu, who observed the fight with interest, couldn't help but grin at Emma's decision while thinking, 'The main downside of a spear made out of the earth is it's not flexible. It's as stiff as a rock.'
'Every weapon has a certain amount of flexibility to avoid it from breaking, but this doesn't apply to conjured weapons made out of mana. As long as you supply it with enough mana, it shouldn't break unless your enemy overpowers your mana.'
'A stiff spear is suitable for thrust, but a spear made out of hardwood is a bit flexible; you can hit your opponents even in close-quarter combat with the blade and not the shaft.'
(A/N: If you're knowledgable about weapons and shit, I apologize for spouting some bullshit. I wrote this based on my own understanding, and I don't know much about this stuff.)
Emma thrust her wind blade; however, Lilia was much quicker than Emma, pulled back her spear, and redirected the blade, making Emma outbalanced. Lilia then prepared to strike and swung her spear downward.
However, Emma hadn't lost yet as she swiftly twisted her body to face Lilia, grabbed her arm, and immediately stabbed her sword. Lilia was fast enough to pull back her spear to block the upcoming attack. Unfortunately, though, it did graze her a bit.
"Impressive swordsmanship as always, Emma."
Emma smiled with confidence as she said, "Thank you, master. Though I learned a lot of tricks from Ryu."
"What did you expect from that hunk, hahaha." Lilia laughed as she backed away while Emma followed forth. Emma had to pressure Lilia with close-quarter combat since she would lose completely if they fought a bit farther away from each other.
"Though this isn't just a physical combat, this is also magical combat!" Lilia said as a ball of earth shot Emma swiftly. Emma's eyes turned sharp as she dodged the attack, but Lilia immediately stabbed her spear as she evaded.
Gritting her teeth, Emma used wind magic to propel herself away from Lilia's attack. Seeing this, Lilia smiled; Emma was at the exact range in which a spear would be advantageous. Lilia then performed a skillful spear attack that left afterimages!
Dozens upon dozens of thrusts were sent toward Emma, who struggled to evade the attacks. She was incredibly pressured right now. Emma tried using wind magic to propel herself away, but Lilia countered that by pushing Emma towards her spear attacks using wind magic as well.
Emma then closed her eyes and decided to dodge the attacks using her senses. She was successful at avoiding the attack, though some still hit her. After a deep, she then decided to cast a large-scale weapon-type wind spell, "Tempest Blade!"
Her sword glowed, and as if it was a windy storm, the clouds shifted. Her brown hair started turning green like her sister's every time she attacked, and Lilia could barely dodge the attacks without using enhancements.
The ground shook as she left a large cut on the floor. It was incredibly windy as everyone's hair was swaying around everywhere! Lilia then said, "Although this is impressive, you still have a lot to learn.
Lilia then grinned as she stomped on the ground, causing the ground to break! The shockwave stunned Emma, causing her to be unable to move for a couple of seconds. This was enough for Lilia to point the tip of her spear at Emma's neck.
Emma laughed as she said, "I completely lost."
"Yes, you—"
*BRRRRIIIING*
"DON'T FUCKING INTERRUPT ME WHEN I'M SPEAKING! *SIGH*" Lilia was a bit mad from the disruption as she crossed her arms while she stopped maintaining her earth spear.
She beckoned Emma to return.

Next up was Anna. She was a bit nervous fighting her master since her master is really powerful. Seeing this, Lilia giggled, saying, "Be confident; Ryu is watching."
Anna's eyes glowed while they began the fight.
Lilia immediately attacked Anna barehanded as she knew that Anna was more of a spellcaster than a warrior. Amongst the three disciples, Anna was the best at casting spells and manipulating mana.
She immediately cast a mana shield that could block physical attacks causing Lilia's attack to fail. "Good casting speed!"
Anna looked dignified as she stomped her feet while shouting, "Flower Field!"
The entire stage was immediately filled with flowers causing the onlookers to be confused about what Anna was doing. But she cast another spell while she was still casting another.
The onlookers were amazed at her proficiency to be able to cast one large-scale spell and another spell simultaneously.
"Petal Rain!" Another large-scale spell! The flower petals immediately detached from the flowers and rained down towards Lilia. All of the petals were as sharp as a sharpened blade which made Lilia have no other choice but to cast a barrier spell.
"You're really impressive, Anna! If you can learn physical combat with this type of magical capabilities, you'd be as amazing as Ryu! Well,.probably a lot less more amazing than Ryu but still amazing nonetheless."
"That made my self-esteem go lower, master!" Anna was a bit mad about that, but since she was compared to Ryu, she quickly let it go as she would never be able to compare to Ryu's talent in physical and magical combat.
"It's my time to attack using magic!" Lilia didn't even use a large-scale spell as a spell of that caliber requires a short chant to be able to cast it without any trouble. The ground shook, and the stage started to crumble. It was as if Lilia shattered the earth!
Anna was unable to focus on casting as she staggered from the shakes of the ground. Lilia then swiftly approached Anna. Anna immediately cast a spell as she saw this, "Binding Vines!"
Anna had a tendency to chant even though she could cast some spells without a short chant, just like "Binding Vines," but she couldn't help but try to perfect every single spell that she cast.
The vines immediately covered the area surrounding Anna, and as Lilia landed, the vines immediately enveloped her as they bound her in place. After this, she immediately cast fire magic capable of burning the vines quickly, which should be "Draconic Flames."
"That was an amazing plan! Unfortunately, though, that won't work on me!" Lilia used wind magic to cut the vines as she set herself free. Then, using wind magic, she flew in the air while conjuring a massive boulder.
"Dodge it, Anna!"
"EHH?!"
*BRRRRRIIIINNGGG*
The timer sounded, so Lilia retracted her earth magic, causing the boulder to disappear.

"Hah! That was scary," Anna whispered as it was finally Ryu's sister's turn, Aoi!
"Umm, Professor Lilia, please go easy on me; I don't really have that much experience in battling," Aoi said while forming a very clunky stance that can be seen most beginners do.
Lilia couldn't help but smile awkwardly as she thought, 'You might not be able to beat me in a fight, but why the fuck are you so fucking strong like your brother! You also have a mana pool of the High Rank, Purple category and a fucking PHOENIX SUMMON!'
"Alright… Be prepared!" Lilia smiled and launched herself to Aoi. Aoi was nervous and scared as she had never been in a fight since six years ago. She trembled while thinking of giant flaming golems.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" The crowd screamed as a loud thud echoed throughout the stage.
Aoi was afraid of what might've happened, but she willed herself to open her eyes and what she saw amazed her. A giant golem made of flames appeared out of nowhere and defended her. The golem then looked at Aoi while saying in a dark yet dignified voice, "Thou shall not hurt the queen."
Aoi couldn't help but repeat what the golem said, "Q-Queen?"
"Mine queen doesn't remember me; however, I shall forever remember mine queen." The golem said while keeping Aoi behind her.
Ryu's eyes widened as his ears perked after hearing what the golem said. Although they were far away, Ryui could listen to them perfectly. He then thought, 'Unbelievable… Don't tell me Aoi is that… Urghh!'
A headache suddenly erupted in Ryu. He then rubbed his temples as he thought, 'It's not time to for that yet, huh…."
Lilia, who was thrown to the ground, couldn't help but exclaim, "How many summons do you have?!"
"I don't know…?" Aoi didn't know as well.
The golem standing in front of Aoi said, "Thou shall not disrespect mine queen!"
It then pushed its palm towards Lilia, and a shower of molten lava rained down on Lilia. Seeing this, Lilia was immediately alerted as she cast a barrier while enhancing herself with wind magic to avoid the attack.
"Aoi, tell your summon to stop! This is just a spar!" This was quite stressful for Lilia at the moment. She didn't expect Aoi to have more overpowered summons like the phoenix! And the golem even calls her queen!
"Y-Yes!" Aoi said as she shouted, "Um, Golem-san, don't attack Professor Lilia! We're just having a spar!"
The golem then stopped attacking, turned around, and said, "Is that so, mine queen. I apologize for mine insolence of not knowing the matter."
Aoi couldn't help but take a deep breath. The golem then continued to speak, "Doest mine queen not remember mine name? If so, I shall say to thou the name that thou granted me. Mine name is Valhel, golem knight of the queen."
"I shall take mine true form.' So the golem, Valhel said as it, or she, shrunk down into a small, feminine form of a golem.
The male students couldn't help but gasp, "C-can a golem be this sexy? What the fuck?!"
"Why do you look so feminine, Valhel-san?"
"I am female. Doest mine queen not remember?"
"W-what?"
*BRRRRIIIIINNNNGGG*
The timer echoed, causing Anna to look at Valhel while saying, "Umm, the timer is finished, you can go back now."
"No, for I shall guard the queen from dangers. I shall try mine meetest with mine limited amount of mana to look most like human creatures." Valhel kneeled down to one knee and spoke.
"Alright, alright let's just go!"
"Yes," Valhel nodded her head and stood behind Aoi. Then, with a few whispered words, her body shifted into a blue-skinned demi-human with gray-colored hair and scars all over her body.
Most people should have expected that she would be naked. Still, she was wearing some kind of skimpy combat suit. Her eyes glowed lightly as her green irises were significantly expressed because of the surrounding sclera, which was as dark as the abyss.
Some of the male students couldn't help but drool as they said, "Holy shit, she's totally my type."
On the other hand, Ryu knitted his brows while thinking, 'It's really her… Fuck, now how can I recover some of my sealed powers?! I didn't expect that she would reincarnate as my sister….'

Now, it was Hina's turn. She happily hopped toward Lilia and took a stance that looked pretty good. Lilia couldn't help but ask, "Do you know any martial arts, perhaps?"
"Yea! I learned karate when I joined the karate club at my school." Hina answered with a nod.
Lilia couldn't help but sigh as she said, "You might be even more of a monster than your sister…. Alright, begin!"
Lilia immediately started it off with a front kick, and she didn't even hesitate since she knew that Hina's raw strength was far stronger than her disciples. Hina then dodged the attack by performing a roundhouse kick.
Lilia blocked the attack by raising her arm, and she immediately delivered a jab. Hina also blocked as she was slightly pushed forward for about two meters. It was a strong punch, yet Hina still remained standing.
Without realizing it, Hina's mana encompassed her entire arm as she sent a lunch punch toward Lilia. Lilia's eyes widened as she said in a very impressed tone, "Impressive! Your physical buffs are top-notch!"
"Thank you, Profesor!" Hina said as they continued.
Ryu couldn't help but turn his head to Aoi and ask her, "Aoi-nee, you didn't tell me Hina knows karate."
"I didn't even know myself…." Aoi said with a wry smile as Valhel turned her head to look at Ryu. Ryu returned the gaze, and after a few seconds, he turned back to watch the spar.
"I sense that thou art powerful… Who art thou to the queen?" Valhel asked Ryu with an emotionless and solemn face.
"I'm her brother. And Valhel, you really need to learn how to speak like a normal person if you want to disguise yourself as a person of this age." Ryu said with a laugh.
"I see; I shall trust thy words," Valhel said while turning her head back to watch the spar.
Hina twisted her body as she did an axe kick. Lilia evaded the attack and grabbed Hina's foot to outbalance her, and struck her straight in the gut.
"Urgh!" Hina groaned as she used al;l of her power to be set free from Lilia's grasp. A thought then passed her mind causing her hands and arms to glow brightly. Her speed and attack power increased as she sent a barrage of punches toward Lilia.
Liliia was impressed as she thought, 'She has great control over her physical strength! As expected of a semi-bestowed rank. She should try and use magic attacks though; her mana pool is large; she just doesn't have great control over her mana.'
"Have you never tried casting spells?" Lilia asked Hina with a serious face.
Hina shook her head as she had never really used magic that much aside from all the technology where you're required to use mana.
Lilia smiled wryly as she thought, 'She's probably one of the people who haven't gotten used to mana that much. But, I mean, it's only six years, so it's understandable.'
"Try thinking of a ball of fire," Lilia instructed as she cast a fireball and let it hover over her palm. "After you imaged it in your mind, condense your mana. It should take the form of what you had imaged inside your mind."
"Nii-chan taught me that, but my magic is not that strong. But maybe it's because I was nervous when I did it earlier." Hina said as she opened her palm. Her mind focused on this singular image of a ball of fire, and she condensed her mana.
Though, there's one thing she didn't realize; she used too much mana.
Instead of a simple fireball, she made a ball of fire that looked like a star so cruel that Hina was already drenched in sweat even though she had just cast the fireball.
Lilia was also drenched in sweat from the heat as she exclaimed, "Hina, uncast it! IT's too hot, you made it too strong!"
"E-eh?"
"Pull back your mana!"
"O-okay!"
*BRRRIIIINNGGG*
Hina uncast the magic as the timer rang. This gave a boost of confidence to Hina, but Lilia, who was drenched in sweat, had an awkward face as she conjured an ice wall and stood right next to it.
'Ryu, why are you and your family monsters.'

As it was his turn already, Ryu walked toward the stage. Lilia just looked at him with a blank face as she said, "Alright, next!"
Ryu was confused as he replied, "What the fuck do you mean next?"
"You already know that you'll beat me, and I'd rather not get my ass beat by a student the first day," Lilia said with a playful smile as she used telepathy to speak to Ryu. [I'll let you beat me in bed later, okay?]
Ryu couldn't help but laugh as he answered, [Jesus… How horny are you? I'll beat you in bed later, alright, but we have to at least spar. I'll go easy on you, don't worry.]
[*Sigh* Make sure to teach me a lesson later, master~] Lilia's coy smile turned solemn as she took a stance. Ryu also did the same as the timer started.
A loud shockwave echoed as both of them lunged at each other. Ryu and Lilia didn't use any mana, but their sheer physical strength seemed like it could cut the wind as loud whooshes sounded.
Their fists collided, causing Lilia's face to twitch a bit as she whispered, "I thought you were gonna go easy on me…."
"Hmm? I am though?"
"You're just a fucking monster both at fighting and in bed. I guess I could expect that from my Ryu." Lilia once more said as she conjured an earthen spear and swung it on Ryu, and Ryu grabbed the shaft as he also summoned a spear made out of plant magic.
"A nice spear battle would be good, no?" Ryu said with a cheeky smile.
Finding this cute, Lilia's face blushed slightly while smiling, "Yea, it is. I haven't had a spar with you this past few weeks. I learn so much every time we spar. You should've just agreed with me being your disciple."
"Hmm? I didn't want to teach stuff while my strength was still uncontrollable. Right now, though… I guess I could take you in as a disciple since I can already control my power." Ryu said while thrusting his spear.
To them, it looked like they just had a simple spar, but to the students and even some of the professors, they looked as if they were gods of some kind as they were using sheer physical strength only aside from the weapons they conjured.
They used techniques that looked intricate and full of mastery as they lunged, swung, and blocked the attacks. The audience was in awe as their eyes could barely keep up. If Ryu and Lilia truly fought, they wouldn't be able to see them.
"Although the spear is good, it isn't really my comfort weapon," Ryu said while evading Lilia's lunge attack. He then swung his spear horizontally and aimed for the neck.
"Hmm, that's true. You looked more comfortable using a chained dart." Lilia replied as she arched her back to avoid Ryu's attack while also counterattacking with a front kick.
"Earthen Shake!" Lilia shouted as she stabbed her spear into the ground, making a small crater. The earth shook as the ground suddenly exploded, and Ryu didn't hesitate to use wind magic to fly out of the way.
As Ryu hovered in the sky, he spun his spear for a few seconds as he cast a spell that Anna had used earlier. Yes, it was "Binding Vines."
The speed of the vines was much faster than with Anna as it wrapped around Lilia, who couldn't escape it. Ryu suddenly appeared in front of Lilia since he used teleportation as he slightly whispered while lightly nudging her tit with his spear, "That was a great spar."
Though he had a countermeasure so that the people won't be able to see what he did.
*BRRRRIIIINNGGG*
The timer rang, and Ryu went back to his position.

Kenji, Elina, Toshiro, Mizuki, and Kasumi all had a great spar with Lilia as they tried their best. Though it wasn't as impressive and flashy compared to the girls and especially Aoi and Hina, it was as if they were the star of the show!
So let's just skip right ahead to Yuki's part.
"Ice Stampede!" as they started the spar, Yuki instantly cast a large-scale spell. Ice rushed over the stage, and multiple creatures made out of ice ran towards Lilia. Lilia was somewhat amazed since Yuki showed no hesitation.
"Burning Grounds!" seeing this, Lilia couldn't help but smile as she used a strong fire spell as well. The earth started to turn red as it turned into molten lava.
'Students today really don't care about safety, so why should I?' Lilia then raised her hand up, and the molten lava immediately swallowed all the ice creatures. As that happened, she rushed toward Yuki at incredible speeds.
After seeing Lilia approach, Yuki's eyes glowed as she clenched her palm into a fist, causing all the surrounding melting ice to wrap around Lilia as it tried to swallow her.
"Ice Missiles," Yuki cast another spell as she dashed backward when Lilia got swallowed by the ice. Though, Lilia powered through as the ice surrounding her shattered from her sheer power.
The ice missiles then started rushing toward Lilia, but she didn't dodge as she conjured her spear and simply smashed them into smithereens. Using wind magic, she buffed her speed and rushed towards Yuki.
Yuki also did the same buff to avoid direct confrontation, but Lilia was too fast. Lilia then took hold of her arm, pulled her, and said, "Do you remember who Ryu is now?"
Yuki's eyes widened slightly, and after the question echoed inside her mind for a moment, she gave off a giggle while saying, "Yes, indeed. So that's what you said earlier that I was familiar with someone among the students."
"Hahaha, that's good. Now back to sparring" Lilia laughed while she stabbed her spear toward Yuki. Yuki then cast a shield out of a couple of elements, but it shattered. Though, it spared her enough time to escape.
Yuki then lightly tapped a mark on her left wrist, and an enchanting bow appeared out of thin air. She then immediately pulled the strings while condensing mana unto the bow causing mana arrows to appear.
"Rain of Ice!" Yuki said as she shot the arrow. The arrow then split into two, and the two arrows were also divided into more. It kept continuing until hundreds of arrows were in the air targetting Lilia.
Lilia then started spinning her spear at a speed faster than sound while saying, "Whirlwind."
The arrows couldn't reach Lilia as they all hit the spinning spear, causing it to break. But Yuki already shot more arrows afterward that seemed to have flown behind Lilia. Though, Lilia didn't look worried as a mana barrier protected her from the arrows.
As the rain of ice arrows stopped, Lilia's eyes glowed as she jumped high in the air and cast a wind spell to push her down to the ground faster towards Yuki, but then, the timer rang.

This continued until the end, then the exhausted Lilia, who had to fight dozens of students, sat down as she looked at Chiyo while casting a water spell so that she could hydrate herself.
Chiyo couldn't help but giggle at Lilia as she decided to announce it for her. "Congratulations, students, on passing the test to enter the Grandis Magic Academy."
"Your rank depends on your skills and capabilities of combat using both magic and physical prowess. You will be classified according to the Zenith ranking, and you will be placed in Zenith, Arche, Dyad, Tertius, Tettares, and Infirma based on the result of the Zenith Magic Test and the professors' judgements."
"I shall now announce who shall go to which rank from the bottom rank to the top rank."
Chiyo then proceeded to announce who had attained the specific rank from Infirma to Arche.
"Alright, it's now time for the Zenith Class students. First of, Ryu Kamiyama, Yuki Yoshimura, Emma Fujisaka, Nila Fujisaka, Anna Fujisaka, Aoi Kamiyama, Hina Kamiyama, Kasumi Bushida, Kenji Sato, Elina Dragonhart, Toshiro Sasaki, and Mizuki Lantratef! Congratulations!"

Omniverse_Creator So as an apology for writing only 1 chapter last week, I wrote a long ass chapter with 5.7k words and it doesn't include the other two chapters that I set as a target. This basically counts as last week's post, ok?
I do hope you enjoyed that, but looked as if I extended the shit too much, but I tried my best to get it as compact as I can as it would've been longer then a chapter. Three chapters perhaps?
Though this took a long time to make (2 Days including the time I spent at work lmao) and it was quite exhausting.
