บท 45: Chp 45:Healing
Lucas POV:
I passed out due to the immense pain and regained consciousness in a different blue room identical to the room earlier, but this one had a bed that I was laying on instead of a table.
My clothes had been changed to a hospital robe too and I was no longer confined. 'This creepy f*ck! He thinks he can just kidnap me and torture me like this!' I cursed him in my thoughts as I wandered around the room, pacing back and forth.
Enraged from my current predicament, I banged on the door, yelling out his name, cursing him and commanding release.
"Robert You bastard! How dare you! Release me this instant! I don't care who you are, I demand you stop this foolishness!" I screamed.
Soon I had tired myself out from all the banging and screaming. Not once did I see his face appear to tell me to shut up or anything.
'Did he forget he kidnapped me?'
My neck still ached from the injection earlier, still red with a slight burning sensation remaining.
'What was that? It hurt like hell!' I thought to myself as I cupped my neck with my hand.
I sat back down on the bed and heard a bang from outside the room. I peeked out the blurred window on the door and saw nothing but blurr.
But I definitely heard something. I yelled again, this time calling out for Evan.
If it was him, I wanted to make sure he knew I was here. Even if I was tired, I still wanted to get out of here.
But nothing. No one came. No one. Not even Robert.
I gave up after an hour or so and went back to rest. The burning in my neck only increased after that. Returning to its former magna heat. My already exhausted voice screamed out in agony again. I couldn't take this pain. It was too much.
My voice no longer came out, yet it still burned like hellfire. Only then did he appear again. But this time he had a cut on his face.
'Was he attacked?'My vision was blurry and I was drenched in sweat. I wanted to scream some more but my voice wouldn't come out.
Robert entered the room and placed a hand on my forehead. I attempted to push him away, but my body was so weak. 'Was he feeling my temperature?'
I wanted to use this chance to run away but my body wouldn't move. My body and voice had given up on me. I was basically a doll in pain.
My heavy breaths echoed in the room of silence. He unsheathed a scalpel from his sleeve and dug into my arm, slicing part of me open. As if I wasn't already in enough pain.
I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes.
When I reopened them, my wound was gone.
Roberts face lit up. "Magnificent! It is just as I had hoped!"
'What!? How is that possible!? I saw and felt myself get injured and now it is gone!'
'But only vampires have fast healing! And it's not even that fast unless they drink human blood.'
He injected me again but this time my heat started to cool down and I began to feel rather drowsy.
'At least I was no longer in agonizing pain. But that shouldn't of happened. I shouldn't heal that quickly.'
