Wei Xiong stared at Xuan City's wall and the metal monsters on the battlements. 

It had been a week since he had started attacking minor towns north of Siren City. He managed to conquer small villages and abandoned towns. However, he couldn't capture two strategic locations.

One was the Tian Long Forest, which was an infamous forbidden region for cultivators. Even after the beastmen had migrated, the forest was still the home of many territorial man-eating insects and plants.

As for another troublesome strategic location, aka Xuan City, an unknown force had occupied it before Wei Xiong had reached there.

Currently, Xuan City's walls were made of metallic plates, which could reflect Qi attacks back to the attackers. However, it couldn't defend against elemental Qi.

Wei Xiong had been besieged the city for only five minutes, but the golems on the battlements were too strong for him and his men.
