บท 6: I Died?
I have been here for only 2 days... and I die just like that?
I can feel the flames scorching my entire being hahaha. Damn, that hurts so much.

I'm on fire!
I woke up as I see myself in a pit of fire. I tried to remember what happened and it seemed like I was roasted by the Red Rodent's rampage.
I took my old skin off my body as I looked at the surroundings to see my brethren dead. They were scorched by the rodent's fire and it was all my fault... no, either way, I was lucky to be alive.
I saw the rodent's corpse in the distance, what could've killed it. Me?
I took a closer look and flipped his body to where I struck it with my acid. I was startled by how my acid suddenly evaporated her eyeball and half of its brain. I could still see the acid staying still like barf on a bucket of water. It just stands out from their red-colored blood.
I was too lucky...
What I don't get is how my older sibling killed something that I can easily kill myself. Was he not able to dodge that massive fire? I took a look at the corner where my older sibling died and it looks like he has become charcoal.
"Fight."
I remembered that voice—the trigger for my sudden attack. I snapped back from fear and instinctively use spit on the rodent's eyes that were just beside me. If not for that voice, I could have been dead.
Who was that?
I suddenly felt another sensation happening somewhere along the dungeon. It was a tingling vibration from my other sibling. I have to help him but after that Ecdysis, I suddenly felt hungry like the last time.
I don't have anyone to eat but that dead rodent over there. No, I don't wanna— wait a minute, let's think about this thoroughly! If that thing has fire inside of it, does that mean it's technically cooked?
The sudden image of cooked meat made me drool as I swayed my head left and right as I focused on the dead rodent and came closer.
Watch guys, as this is how I usually eat a rodent! You might learn from it! (you won't)
The first step is to peel off its fur because it's clearly not visible. Don't eat through the place you put your acid, in case that you don't have acid resistance! Unlike me, when I accidentally ate my own acid yesterday, I almost died!
When suddenly...

I thought it would be useless to say it earlier but I was interrupted explaining and the sudden interruption of the rodents. I finally have the chance to show it, so... tadaah?
You can also use your fangs to peel off the fur and voila! You can now eat the guts of said rodents! It's like peeling bananas, but grosser!
Ooohhh!! Even though it isn't cooked, it clearly looks steamed! Its flesh is clearly hot in the fur, so I expected it in the flesh too and it did not disappoint me! Thanks for the food! Munch much munch munch munch...

I'm so full! I haven't eaten this blissfully since I came here. Even though it needs a little bit of salt, its flesh was juicy and firm so I can't be picky!
Oh yeah, where was I— Oh my God, my siblings! I need to help them!
I was so distracted by the cooked meat that I forgot about my own blood! I need to hurry or they'd be dead!
I ran across the dungeon as I followed their signal and met them in some room in the dungeon. There were my siblings and one older sibling and they seem to be cornered by rodents. Luckily, there were no Fire Rodents.
The older sibling seems to be injured, protecting his little siblings by putting up a fight. There seem to be three big rats and five small ones, easy. Since I leveled up, my acid is stronger than ever, so I can distract them!
Taste this, the full power of my own acid!
Acid Spit!
My acid started to become larger than before, it's already double the size since I first used it. It became more the size of a basketball than the last time and I can assure myself it is more potent than before.
I launched my attack as it hit the rodent's eyes. If I can kill the Fire Rodent that way than I can do it that way too. The rodent fell to the ground as the others were startled, enough for my older sibling to attack.
I launched more of those acids of mine and minutes later, we won. It was one-sided as when the three large rats died, the small ones got scared and were finished off by my own siblings.
My siblings then ate off their flesh... real quick. It seemed like eating is one way to replenish their energy.
As for me, I felt another tingling sensation as another of my kin needs help. I looked at older sibling and gently nodded once with her eyes closed. I did it back and went off to save the others.
After all the running, I saved some of my siblings until this horrid moment appeared. I was running to save my other siblings when the tingling suddenly disappeared.
I hurried as I stood before rodents eating of the skin of my own blood. Of course, I was horrified. Imagine seeing humans get eaten in front of you, but more than horrified, I was angry...
To see my own siblings murdered in front of me. All in my head, I only think of—was kill!
Acid Spit! Acid Spit! Acid Spit! Acid Spit!
