บท 23: Chapter 23
Golden week was a torture time chamber. Coach worked us until we the point where if we had the slightest twitch in a muscle we would feel pain.
Yet the results were worth it. Stamina and teamwork has increased. Our personal skills haven't improved much but they are still effective tools.
Sugas fast set to me has improved a lot.We grinded a lot this week and managed to get it to freak level. Granted the freak quick set is where the ball reaches its maximum height before dropping straight down. Suga can't do that but I can compensate for that thanks to observation haki.
Also I managed to get closer to Kiyoko. After practice we talk a lot and got to know each other better.
Though there was one part that was questionable. It was when we had a full on horror movie night.
Nishinoya and Tanaka managed to convince Daichi to have it. Did I have fun? Yes.Tanaka and Nishinoya were terrified. Kazuhito, Kinoshita and Ennoshita were also scared. Asahi was jumping in fright ever time there was a jump scare while Suga was somewhere in middle of slightly scared to absolutely terrified.
Daichi, Kiyoko and Kurokawa had mastered the art of the poker face though.
The movie night was going great. Once we finished another movie and were laughing, like ghost Nishinoyas phone started ringing.
Silence filled the air.
" Oh Noya. Answer it. " Tanaka said.
" Okay. "Nishinoya answered the call. That's when we heard it.
" Seven days. "
" Ahhhhhhhhh!!" Everyone screamed in fear.
I mean seriously where did this come from? How the hell is this happening? It doesn't make sense at all-
Wait a fucking minute. I know that phone number.
" Goddammit Tendou sempai. Did you really have to? "
Laughter came from the other side of the phone. " I'm sorry Dai chan. It was to good of an opportunity to pass up. "
As I was about to reply I saw Daichi looking at me with a simple smile, a simple smile that caused everyone to fear it.
I silently handed him the phone.
" Tendou Satori." Hos tone started light and conversational. "I hope you have somewhere safe to run to."
His tone tuned dark, darker than any normal persons voice could go.
Was it wrong for me to fear my friends life?

Needless to say Tendou is currently going through therapy sessions as he has been having nightmares. I tried to talk to him so he gets over it and it's working. But it's been a slow process.
Anyway inter high was coming up soon but before we it comes Takeda managed to get us a practice match againest Kakugawa high. The same school Hyakuzawa Yudai goes to in his first year.
The match was today. We were waiting In the gym. Before long Takeda come with the Kakugawa volleyball team behind him.
While introductions were going on I saw someone I recognise.
" Totsubo. What's up man? "
" Daiki. Nice to see too. " He responded while high fiving.
" So you chose Kakugawa high huh. At least I know which school you go to now. "
" Yeah. I never did tell you which school I was going to. "
"Daiki how do you know him? "Daichi asked.
" Oh that's easy. We played at Teiko. "
" So he's your former teammate. "
" Yep. "
" Nice to meet you. My name is Totsubo Aone."
" Nice to meet you. My name is Sawamura Daichi. " They greet each other while shaking hands.
" Well then it's now time for the match. " Totsubo says.
" Your right. Let's see who wins. " Daiki says.
" Challendge accepted. "
They then walk back to their teams. The match was about to start.
