The next day, Ji Yuan had bumped into Feng Minyue and Yu Jingjing at the same time.

He had thought that Feng Minyue would be upset with him but to his surprise, she was actually quite amicable toward him.

"Is this the calm before the storm?" He could not help thinking over it.

He had thought that even Yu Jingjing would be giving him a slap or two after he had lost control in front of her but to his surprise, Yu Jingjing was actually quite amicable toward him as well.

After a while he began to calm down even though he could not help feeling suspicious about their 'intentions'.

It was as though nothing had happened earlier.

All they asked were, "Are you really alright? You shouldn't have used your life force energies. It is harmful to your life force."

He replied awkwardly, "I'm actually alright. Don't you worry about that or me."

Yu Jingjing hummed softly, "All men like to put on a brave front because they value their faces more than their lives."
