Opportunity slaughtered her way past the small group of players. A path of wreckage followed her.
She slammed a door open, an old man was standing still looking very panicked. Opportunity dashed forward and kicked the man, just in case he was logging out. The man slammed against a wooden wall, some planks breaking apart.
The man spat, "Opportunity! You will not get away with this! Do you have any idea of who you are messing with?!"
Opportunity casually responded, "You all refuse to drop such a small encounter, since you want to escalate this I will gladly respond."
She pulled out the orb, the man saw it and panicked, "You wouldn't! How did you get your hands on one?!"
The orb shattered as she answered, "None of your concern. But yes, yes I would."
"If you kill me, the troubles you are facing will be multiplied! You wouldn't dare!"
"It's such a shame people like you have power, feeling so invincible. Yet you are merely an army of ants in this world. I alone am enough, but you had to bring more into this. Tell this to your higher ups. I will make sure Withered Oaths falls."
"You cannot hope to compete-!"
Opportunity had killed him before they could finish speaking. A ton of items dropped on the ground. She quickly examined through them, many average players would be ecstatic to have a single one of these, but none caught here interest. Except for a single item, "Nice, looks like my luck has yet to fail me."
She obtained what they were looking for. She stored it into her inventory and began running out of the building. They should escape as fast as possible to prevent any further unnecessary combat.

Dang~!
Akiol blocked a blow and dodged another. Tenebrous flipped their grip again and stabbed towards Akiol's heart. With a step back the blow was dodged, but a green portal formed underneath Tenebrous.
The Agent reappeared above Akiol and used a skill. Three black misty knives appeared and shot towards him. Akiol used to Stars to absorb them via the blackhole. The Agent landed and shot forward, their dagger incredibly quick.
Akiol deflected a strike and swung towards an opening. A clean slash appeared on their chest, followed by another five. The Agent cursed and retreated slightly.
At this point Opportunity ran through the entrance, "We are done! Let's go!"
Tenebrous knew they couldn't fight both of them. So he disappeared ominously, "We will meet again."
Akiol made a face, "What a typical thing to say."
Opportunity ran up to him, "You ready?"
"Let's place this final one and get out of here."
Akiol placed the final scroll, Opportunity summoned Charo for a quick escape. After it turned blue they jumped on to Charo and flew to the sky.
After getting a safe distance away Opportunity asked, "How long again?"
"It's supposed to ten to thirty seconds. It's been fifteen."
"So it can be anytime now-"
KRBOOOOM-!!
A huge explosion of swirling mana appeared. The shockwave from the blast hit Charo, causing the cat to spiral through the air for a bit.
The mana swirl slowly faded, and what was left of the explosion slightly shocked Akiol.
In short, there was nothing. No signs of a battlefield, a simple flat circle of land devoid of any signs of life.
Opportunity whistled, "Let me contact that sorcerer. I would like these in bulk."
"I'd doubt she even sell them."
"The term 'priceless' is false. Those who claim such things aren't willing to give it up for the price given to them. There is always a price."
"I'll tell her you said that then."
Opportunity looked momentarily distracted before frowning, "Uh oh, seems like we caused a little too much mayhem."
"Pardon?"
"Withered Oaths acted fast, the others are overwhelmed. Since we acted fast the reinforcements aiming towards us changed course and went to the other base."
"Meaning they are currently facing the full wrath of Withered Oaths."
"We shall assist, switch back to your ball form. Charo is complaining about the weight."
"How does that even work."
"It's your body. Hurry up though, I don't know how long they can last."

Oranjay formed a sickle made of a deep purple energy. Twirling it he swung and cut through a group of players. Those who died turned into small orbs of purple light and flowed into Oranjay.
This was a unique class called Death's Call. It was incredibly suited for large scale combat and wars. For its power increases the more 'souls' is harvested.
Anything killed by the scythe would grant the user souls. However these weren't actual souls, more like a special energy called so. So more powerful monsters would grant more souls.
These souls then could be used to summon special minions, or buff certain spells. If they aren't used, they would slightly buff the user. However the buff wasn't as great as the effects of using the souls.
Death's Call was a close combat - summoner hybrid. Because of this Oranjay is capable of soloing group dungeons. This is also why he struggles to climb the Tower, due to his skills being disabled.
Oranjay snapped and a large fat beast appeared. It's figure was constantly changing, due to its body being made of dark and deep purple energy.
The beast roared and charged into the crowd. Swinging its thick forearms at whatever was close.
This was one weakness the class had, the summons did not provide souls. At least not yet. Currently Oranjay did not care for souls. Instead he needed to buy time. They needed reinforcements. The player count had reached nearly five hundred. They were getting overwhelmed fast.
Otion quickly dispatched any players who managed to get past Oranjay's defense. His class was more suited to take on 1-3 opponents. With powerful single-target moves and decently short cooldowns. He hadn't lost a one-on-one fight ever since he started climbing the Tower. The exception being against Opportunity. He was going to be the one to charge in the building and murder their target. Yet the current situation did not let him have the chance.
Ocava was shooting arrows at various healers and spell casters within the army, doing her best to reduce the pressure on them. She didn't have a special class just yet. She currently was completing a long quest to obtain one. So she had ordinary Archer skills along with a few she obtained through Skill Stones.
However she was still incredibly vital to their team. Her aim was impeccable, her accuracy above the 90 percent mark. Because of this accuracy Withered Oaths had to move some of their tanks to protect their healers and spell casters.
"Fire!"
A volley of different arrows came descending upon them. Oranjay spun his scythe and swung towards them. A wave of the deep purple energy pushed forward, redirecting the majority of the arrows.
Otion used his spear to knock away the stray arrows headed his way. Yet this gave an opportunity to some players, and a group charged forward.
Oranjay swung his scythe towards the players but a Counter Expert stopped his attack. Ocava started to shoot arrows at the group, yet this released the much needed pressure on the spell casters and healers.
Otion shouted, "Focus on yourselves! I can handle this!"
"You do realize we are affected by an Orb of Greed right?!", shouted Ocava.
"I will live."
Otion began utilizing his skills to take down the opponents. The group that broke into their defense was above average, but not at the level of Otion.
Even if his class was not built for battles like these, his own experience and skill he gained from the Tower kept him from being overwhelmed.
Their current situation was very fragile. A single mishap and they would be overwhelmed and killed. Their immense concentration on the battle wore them out mentally. Their bodies beginning to feel the fatigue.
"I really hope they come soon!"

Charo stopped flying suddenly. Opportunity looked down, "We are here, how are we going to deal with this?"
Akiol turned back into his human form and looked down. Upon seeing the ever increasing army of players he whistled, "That's quite the number. How do you even have that many under a secret organization?"
"Probably mercenaries. That's besides the point, I don't think we can just swoop in and save them. Even if I am powerful I think there is well over a thousand players now, and that number is rising."
Akiol spotted something amongst the battlefield, "Well there is something I can do. Ocava did quite the job against these guys. They feared their healers were going to be killed one at a time and have them gathered around some Guardians and Knights. I can probably take them out in one go."
"Do so then, the moment they are distracted we can descend into battle."
"How do you say we do that?"
"I have a way of surviving the fall. What about you?"
"I certainly haven't died from falling yet. Pretty sure I am immune to fall damage."
"Your race proves to be quite unfair."
"I easily get one-shot. It evens out."
"Do the thing you are planning then. Once they are gone we jump."
"Alright!"
Akiol unsheathed Stars and pointed him towards the group, "It's your turn."
'On it!'
A blackhole appeared and a meteorite shot forward. It traveled through the air for a few seconds before slamming into the healer group. A large crater formed and almost all the healers died from the move.
Opportunity shouted, "Now let's go!"
The two jumped off Charo, falling through the air. Many players were busy being distracted from the sudden explosion. However some shouted, "Above!"
They looked up to see two players falling. Before Opportunity landed two large golden silhouettes of arms holding axes appeared above her. The moment she landed on the ground they swung forward and carved through the players.
