The Emperor clenched his fist; he thought about all that had been happening.

Everything that had happened had been to solidify his rule. That child appearing in the Pingui family was already suspicious, pairing this to the fact of the circulating rumours passed to his ears through secret guards of both child and mother. This then only made him wondered to himself; was that female truly adopted? Or birthed from the present matriarch of the Pingui family. He thought of the agreement and silently decided to consult the crown prince.

"Aide Bu, summon the crown prince!" the Emperor commanded.

Aide Bu looked at the frustrated face of the emperor his master and tried his best not to frown.

He felt that the high noble minister knew more but felt that this matter was not simple, so he neither summoned a hidden guard nor voiced his opinion.

Instead, he bowed in a ninety-degree angle and then took five steps back before turning and exiting.
