"Will belong to me from now on," XueYa said, cutting away whatever Liu Ximeng had in mind. He wasn't in the mood to chit chat any longer. Not with these geezers.

The fire had long ceased, Feng MuLing's body unmoving and cooling down. The horrid smell of charred flesh filled his lungs, but XueYa pushed the bile down.

He had to get moving, fast.

With a snap of his fingers, Yating's sobbing, bleeding figure faded into a small piece of jade, and XueYa picked it up, safely stashing it in his sash, away from the prying eyes. The fox had tried to break free from the prison, tearing at its own flesh for nought.

"Clean up the bodies," Liu Ximeng ordered the guards, his lips curling with disgust. "It smells disgusting."

"I wish to take Feng MuLing's body, your highness," Sheng Hai said, a little mirth showing through his tight visage.

Le Hong's gaze thinned, lips curving. "Mm, why?"
