Because they had just recently entered the Space-Time Realm, they could barely scratch the surface of the sub-laws of their main affinities. Until this moment, they couldn't tell yet was they were 'looking' at. The sub-laws were there, but they were too ethereal for them to understand.

Now, however, they could finally distinguish the first sub-law they would need to comprehend in order to advance to the Middle Stage of the Space-Time Realm.
