บท 143: Three Is A Crowd

[Johan's POV]

The rain showed no signs of stopping soon, and the deafening silence in the small space between them prickled his heart with tiny icicles, bruising the numb organ that only felt warmth when Adrian was around. 

It took him a lot of courage to open up about the actual relationship between him and Russell. It's a relationship the society would frown upon, so he would understand if Adrian chose to walk away in disgust after hearing about it. But he'd rather Adrian walked away now than later, when their attachment had grown too strong that cutting it would cause either of them to bleed.

Johan coughed into his hand to loosen the tightening of his airways, then stood, grabbing the wet hoodie on the table. "It's already past midnight. Let's go back to my apartment before we catch a cold for staying out here—"
