The light had already faded from the sky by the time she came across her clue. She walked along a street that could have taken her along a path to the Ferry estate, but she walked slowly and looked up and down the street for any sign of a studio. The lack of sunlight wasn't helping her search. She had only felt more and more anxious as the minutes passed - the air had taken on a subtle chill that cut through the thin material of her dress, causing her to shiver, and her breath came in shudders each time she thought of the memories she had lost.
And on that street, she had found a sign. Someone had taken great care to place it behind the half-wire trees, letting the low branches and the orange leaves hide it. Oil from the trees had soaked into the edges of the sign.
