ตอน 72: A Help They Need

Everyone was looking at me in surprise, except for Echidna, she had a look of approval on her face.
"A-a solution? Are you serious? N-no, if you're joking please take it back, don't give us false hope." Blake Belladonna whimpers.
"That's right, we have no time for jokes especially when people's lives are on the line!" Yang grits her teeth while looking at me with an intense look.
Weiss and Ruby were just looking at me with neutral expressions, but their eyes said differently, it was promising me retribution if I was joking about a solution.
I couldn't help but sigh internally, with the state of their world I could understand their distrust, but I wasn't joking this time.
I'm not the kind of bastard that would kick a dying puppy even though, they know it was dying.
"I wasn't joking, do you think I'd joke about lives? I'm heartless to do something like that." I gave them an annoyed look.
The 4 of them looked at me guiltily, okay stop giving that look, you guys look even more pitiful than before!
"Alright, don't give me that look it makes me feel guilty c'mon girls, you're supposed to be kickass huntresses!" My words somehow managed to worm a smile on their faces.
That's a relief, somehow I manage to brighten their mood even if it's just for a little, which is better than sulking around.
"Then, mind telling us what your solution is?" Ruby asked with a hopeful look.
I smiled at her and replied, "Outside help."
"Eh?" Team RWBY and Glynda had dumbfounded expressions on their faces.

Somehow I managed to convince the locals of this world to give us group chat members private time to discuss.
Now that It's only us who are here in the tent, finally Jaune decided to ask. "So what's your solution?"
"Isn't it obvious?" I gave him a smirk that would make Archer proud.
Jaune had a thoughtful look on his face, a moment later he let out a sigh and said. "I have no idea, I've been thinking about what your solution is but nothing, as far as I know, this place has soil deterioration, crops can't grow here, not to mention the animals, haven't seen any since coming here."
"Jaune, you've been thinking inside the box the whole time, why not think outside the box." However, before Jaune could think of an answer, the newest member of our group said.
"The Group Shop, that's your solution right?"
"Bingo! Good job for figuring that out Taylor." I smiled at her.
While Taylor blushed at the compliment, still wasn't used to being complimented by someone other than her family.
"Oh, the Group Shop…I've been caught up in this world's problem and thinking about what kind of resources are left for us to utilize in this place, but I haven't thought of using an outside source, like you said I'm thinking inside the box the inside time, not the outside." Jaune said.
I nodded at his explanation, then I replied. "Indeed, that's why I need your help, I've sent quite a lot of points buying…well things, if I have enough points I'd like to do this myself but…"
"We get it, you don't need to explain dear, I'm sure you do right?" Echidna said while looking at the two.
"That's right, but I don't think Taylor…" Jaune stared at Taylor who has a look of frustration on her face.
"Yeah, I don't have enough points…"
Well, she is a new member so it only makes sense that she doesn't have much GP.
"Don't worry about it Taylor, you can also help them in some way."
Taylor reluctantly nodded at my words, there was nothing she could do with a lack of points.
"Alright then, let's start looking for the best thing they need in this situation."
Echidna, Jaune, and Taylor nodded.

-Location City Of Vale Secret Camp-
It's been a half hour since team RWBY and Glynda started gathering all the people around the camp.
Now, all of them are present in one place, the total population is a few hundred people, from children to adults.
Despite their beggar-like appearance, they all had a hopeful look on their faces, as everyone who gathered around heard that a group of people outside Vale arrived at their camp and they claimed that they could end their food problems and they would never starve again.
Everyone here knows how significant that is, as they all have experienced starvation each one of them has, since a year ago food has been a problem.
Almost every single day starting that year, people started dying one by one. Most people that died were someone who had a weak immune system, someone who gets sick easily.
There were supposed to be tens of thousands of them, and now only a mere few hundred people are left. These people here are people who have the strongest will to survive, if they didn't they wouldn't have lasted this far.
Then everyone saw 4 people whose clothes looked clean, fresh, and new going in front of them.
Some of the people who gathered here, well mostly girls, were comparing their beggar-like clothes to the people in front, they couldn't help but feel ashamed, embarrassed of themselves.
And most importantly envy, but before it could grow to hate, the person who is mostly in charge of the group of 4 spoke.
"I'm not good at speeches so I'll say this straight, whatever you heard is true, we have a permanent solution to improve your situation, to stop your starvation."
Everyone started talking loudly, some cried, some were shouting in happiness and many more actions to express their happiness.
It took a few minutes for them to calm their emotional states, after all, they've come this far, just to survive they did things that they thought that they wouldn't resort to, things they regret, but for the sake of survival they did it.
After they calmed down, Blake continued. "I know you're all emotional, but please let me speak, I still have a lot of things to explain."
Then Blake started introducing the items that they bought from the Group Shop, most of them were essential for farming.
One of the said items was to make their soil healthy again, meaning they could finally plant crops without dying!
Their excitement was over the roof, it was one of their biggest problems, because of this place's soil deterioration, they couldn't grow any crops.
Now that they were able to, they could stop starvation!
Blake also introduced a machine that could make the dirtiest water drinkable again, absolutely 99.99% germ-free after the process they just need a water source.
(A/N: We all know that it's impossible to kill 100% of the bacteria, even if it's possible any cleaning company wouldn't make them, obviously it's marketing they'd be bankrupt if they make something that could literally kill 100% of bacteria.)
Everyone was again excited at the news, food and water were the most essential things for survival.
As for shelter? They could manage that.
To them having no problem with food or water is paradise, nay it might be heaven at this point.
Blake took out a few capsules from his pocket, everyone was curious why he pulled a capsule.
But no one said anything, that's because they were grateful enough to show him respect, after all, he is literally their messiah at this point.
He was their savior along with the others, though they wondered why this particular person in their group wore a mask.
But they paid no mind, if one of their saviors wanted to hide their identity, who are they to stop them?
"Alright everyone, mind if you move away for a bit?"
Though confused, they didn't ask and followed his instructions, then suddenly he threw one of the capsules into the ground and the area was suddenly filled with smoke.
Blake just didn't stop there, he also threw the rest of the capsules.
After the smoke faded, everyone was stunned at the sight, at first they thought that they might have died without them realizing it.
But after pinching themselves, and feeling pain, they knew it wasn't a dream, in front of them was literally the closest thing to heaven.
Mountains of food are enough to feed hundreds, maybe even thousands of people at once.
Everyone just stared at the mountain of food in front of them, it even had desserts.
It's been a long time since they ate one…
Then everyone hears Blake clapping gathering their attention. "Everyone, before you dig in, be sure not to cause a riot everyone should be proper, and no physical harm must be done in every possible way, this food is enough for everyone so you don't have to worry about not getting any, to the left side is a tank filled with water, you can use it to drink water, wash hands or even bath, and lastly to your left side is thousands of clothes for everyone, again remember no physical harm, everyone would eventually get their share, and that's all I have to say."
After that cries of happiness across the camp, they have never been so happy, as they couldn't remember the last time they did.
But for now, all regrets, pain, and suffering that they experienced in the past years, were all temporarily forgotten.
As they are going to enjoy their lives to the fullest just for today.
This was their reward for surviving this long.
Today was a day to remember, this was history in the making.
In the future today was known to be the New Beginning to the Valean's.

Now, if the situation in Vale is this bad, what about the other kingdoms?
Mistral,
Atlas,
God forbid Vacuo!
Oh yeah Menagerie too, but it wasn't a kingdom more like people, well racist people refuse to acknowledge it as a kingdom.
After they're done in Vale, they go to Mistral.
Then Atlas, Vacuo, and lastly Menagerie.
Along the way they'll meet RWBY characters.
It's kind of like a world tour, as they don't exactly know where Evil Jaune is, they'll check every kingdom.
But of course, help them only if they need them.
Total GP was spent buying items in Group Shop: 600+
Don't worry they won't use their GP's again in this 'reality' what they bought is enough for the world to recover.
