Edwin, Levin, and Ivar, watched what was happening. With Angeal still wrapping her arms around Devin, the Soul Eater dare not to move. He felt her heartbeat against his back, fast as if she was scared of what she was doing.

It made Devin think if she was scared of him--if she forced herself to do this just for him to stop.

Heck, who wouldn't be scared of him? He is a cursed being who has a hunger for souls! He could still remember the scared expression in Angeal's eyes when she first saw him act this way. 

'How could she not be scared of me?' Devin thought, his heart, aching as he started to hate himself for being a Soul Eater. 'Of course, she is...'

Devin was fully convinced that Angeal just forced herself to be here just so she could stop him.
