The moment Levin left to follow Eleonor to talk to her, everyone went silent for a while before Angeal spoke again to break the silence. 

"Who is she, anyway? And why is she proposing marriage to Devin?"

"Oooh..." Gwen elbowed Angeal a few times as she narrowed her eyes at her. "Jealous?"

"What?" 

Devin looked at the girl beside him from the corner of his eye as he waited expectantly for her to answer Gwen's question, curious about it, too.

He was almost holding his breath until Angeal would state her answer and once she would, he could then breathe easily. 

"I..."

Feeling her face heat up, Angeal shook her head as she rolled her eyes at Gwen, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
