Yuhao was unsure what was happening, however, Amra frantically shouted, "Yuhao, he is going to burn his origin essence to combust himself. A ten-year-old spirit beast would be able to explode in a one-metre radius. This mutt is clearly nearing three hundred thousand years in age! If it explodes, that would be almost thirty kilometres of land and life that would be wiped out!"
Just as Yuhao moved to charge at the dog, a cold, but familiar voice sighed out and froze Yuhao in his tracks. Immediately afterwards, the Scarlet King looked up in the sky in shock and fright. It went to roar, however just as its jaws opened, an extremely familiar condensed beam of ice energy flew inside its body and completely froze it, inside and out.
"Snow Empress," Yuhao murmured aloud, stunned to see the renowned Heavenly Snow Woman, who attempted to end his life over misinformation last time they met, manifest in front of him.
She was initially facing towards the now frozen, Scarlet King, however hearing his words, she turned around.
"Hello, Yuhao. Long-time no see," She said half coldly, half pleasantly.
Yuhao could not figure out how or why she would be here. By this time, she should have absorbed the immortal herb just as she planned to do so. She even left them in the Extreme North to do just that, so he was confused as to why she was here. Unable and not bothered trying to think of a reason when she was right here, he simply asked her, "What are you doing here, may I ask?"
She looked thoughtful at him for a moment before slightly turning her body to watch the frozen mutt, "I was going to undergo the rebirth just as I had planned, however knowing that there was another way that would allow me to ascend, while also being with Bing Bing made me hesitate. Over the past five months, I have been following you, which Amra and that other guy in your mind can attest to. To be honest, you are different than what I imagined, and I wasn't planning on showing myself to you so early. However, with your and this mastiff's actions, I decided to step in early."
Yuhao nodded acknowledging this thought process. He didn't need to ask Amra or Electrolux about it as he trusted their judgement to let her observe him. He looked into the eyes of the Snow Empress as he asked, "What are you going to do now?"
Shocking, the Snow Empress showed some emotion as she went to reply. She shyly and embarrassingly turned her head away from Yuhao's gaze as she said, "If you will still have me Yuhao, I would like to join you as a conscious spirit beast."
This was something that Yuhao dreamed of, but he never believed that the Snow Empress would willingly do, unlike the Ice Empress and Daydream. Not wanting to leave her waiting, Yuhao happily nodded and grinned.
"Sure you can!" He said. "If I said no to having someone as strong as you on my side, then I would have to be stupid."
The Snow Empress smiled back at him, as she indicated towards the still frozen and unmelting block of frozen dog, "I would suggest you absorb his spirit ring first, if that was the plan. He isn't dead yet so you can still get his ring and the bone he will definitely drop, being over one hundred thousand years old."
"Agreed," Yuhao curtly stated as he moved past the Snow Empress and walked over to the frozen mastiff.
He held up his FrostFire spirit and smashed down on the ice with his hammer side, causing cracks to rise up, along the ice. He continued smashing with his hammer on the frozen mastiff's back, slowly but steadily increasing the number of ice fractures until finally, the impact of his hammer caused the ice to shatter apart.
When the ice shattered, the entire body of the frozen mastiff split into hundreds of pieces, and the energy previously contained within the mastiff began leaking from its into the surroundings. Rather than dissipate as Yuhao expected it to, the energy all of a sudden, rushed into the largest, remaining fragment of the mastiff, which was the back half of the beast's central skull. Once all of this energy strangely entered into this fragment, the Three-Headed Scarlet Devil Mastiff's red spirit ring floated up out of it.
Satisfied that there were no visible consequences from this event, Yuhao whispered to his conscious mental spirit beasts to help him with the Scarlet King's remnant consciousness and soul shock attacks that it would undoubtedly perform. Once their focus was confirmed, Yuhao spread his energy out to the powerful red spirit ring and absorbed it into his body.
His spiritual sea and mentality had no immediate attacks performed against it as expected. However, once Yuhao's bloodline energy began travelling into his spiritual sea, ready to passively perform the bloodline mutation and evolution, the Scarlet King attacked. Unfortunately for the Scarlet King, there were over three spirit beasts with at or over one million years in cultivation within Yuhao's body, so his attack and now exposed consciousness were fully dissipated without worry.
As the blood energy travelled into Yuhao's new ring, and the Three-Headed Scarlet Devil Mastiff spectre appeared, the ring went under a qualitative change. The spirit beast spectre had evolved into a Three-Headed Infernal Wolf, that had stronger physical properties, and more deadly fire. Finally, the spectre faded, and the information about the new skills appeared in Yuhao's mind.
The first skill he received was simply named Unparalleled Heat, that gathers infernal fire on the scythe blade which can be swung out at enemies. This fire has the unique and particular property of exploding on impact, which would launch residue flames in additional directions and at greater distances. The second and last skill received was called Triple Head Resonation. Yuhao thought the name spoke for itself, seeing as each hit of the hammer with this skill active, would cause a second and third resonating strike to be performed at 75% and 50% power, respectively.
Both of these skills were extremely powerful and provided Yuhao with more versatility on his tool spirit. This is especially so for the second skill, as it was the first hammer-based skill that Yuhao had.
