บท 179: Changes

I blink in surprise before struggling to wiggle out of Thane's arms. The old man finally makes it to us and jumps back with a curse of his own. He looks at me with wide eyes before saying "What did they do to you!? Is this some sort of curse!? What punishment did they give you!?" 

Thane finally releases me and as soon as my feet hit the snow, I reach up and pull my hair forward. It was white! It was as white as the woman's hair!! Thane leans down, trying to see my face as I stare at my hair in disbelief. 

I take a step back, trying to head back to the house to look into a mirror but Thane's hands lock me into place. He grabs my cheeks, forcing me to look up at him. When I see the way he keeps looking at me I ask in a soft voice "What? What is it?"
