"Did you always know...?" She whispers and I tilt my head to see her eyes closed.

"Know what...?" I encourage her to continue, brushing my lips on her forehead.

"About the cave... did you know she would be there...?" She speaks quietly and I smile, her tiredness transmitting through her words.

"I didn't know what was there... My father, more than once, told me that if I ever felt in any danger, I should trust in that place to protect me. Many times I tried to go there but something wouldn't let me in, I never understood what it was until my father said I wasn't ready, nor was I in any danger... In time I forgot all about it, and simply kept going due to the beauty and peace that place gave me. When you mentioned how it gave you the same feelings everything came back and I knew you would be safe there..." I squeeze her to my arms softly and she sighs with a smile.
