"Caleb!" Blood damped his shirt that was on my body, and I started to cry. He looked at me calmly, and I needed to force myself to remember he was going to be ok. I laid him on the side and tried to check the wound, while I heard movement behind me.

"Lave him to bleed to death, turn around," I heard Gideon speak emotionless. I squeezed Caleb's hand and he nodded, closing his eyes. Grabbing courage I turned around and stood to face my tormentor.

"What the fuck is your problem!" I screamed at him, and he blinked a little surprised.

"My problem? YOU are my fucking problem!" He spit at me and then pulled my arm taking me with him. While he did, I looked behind and sobbed as Caleb's hurt body moved slowly, I had to keep Gideon distracted, I needed to be strong.

A couple steps away I pushed him, and he immediately aimed his rifle at me. "I will kill you if you push me again. Be a good slut and come with me or I will shoot you right here," He commanded, and I shook my head.
