บท 30: Don't leave me, Please...

His laugh echoed in the empty room, bouncing through every wall and then coming back to my ears, taunting me, of how he thinks all of this as a joke, something to laugh upon. With every second, his laugh drummed across my ears, the anger doubled and doubled, like getting ready to explode any minute like a volcano. Like, to want to let everything out. All in once. But I kept it inside, refusing to explode and show vulnerability. To let him think that his taunting doesn't work upon me. But in reality, not only it stinks but also hurts. Deeply, like a knife piercing straight through my heart, cutting it into pieces.

Finally, he settled down and once again, like he hadn't laughed for so long, his face turned dark, darker till no trace of emotion left there. Making it difficult for me to comprehend what is going in that devil mind of his. Eyes as solid as stone, not giving anything. Making me wonder how can someone change and hide emotions so quickly?
