บท 41: Chapter 39

"Yes I'm so close to my last task." I said happily and Ruby just smiles at me. We put on our pj's and started to watch anime. The next few month's flew by, the main thing of note was that Vali and Kara were officially dating now. And a few days before the end of term, we voted to stay here for the holidays. Ruby started to smile, damn I forgot about that bet.

"Yo Ruby want to see something cool?" I ask knowing the answer. "Always." She said with a big smile, I grab her hand and head to the training room. When we enter. "Are you ready?" I ask with a smile. "Yep." She said popping the p. I use petal burst. I stop after one lap and look at the shocked Ruby. "Well how was that?" I ask laughing. "That was awesome, you can do that too but yours isn't red." She said a little bit sad. "I think it's because I used mana not aura to replicate your skill, that's why it was black instead of red." I say, not really knowing the reason.

She seemed satisfied with that. "Let's race." She said and started straight away. We raced until Ruby ran out of aura. "I wonder if we can expand your aura pool?" I ask not expecting an answer. I will start research on that at a later date. We start walking to my room and my phone starts ringing, i look at the number and it's dad. "Yo dad, is everything ok?" I ask hoping it is.

"Yes everything is fine, I'm just calling you for two things. First thing I've got the wood you wanted, I'll send it soon. The second thing is I have found someone willing to be test subjects as long as they get a child from it. They should arrive tomorrow." Dad said with a happy tone. "Ok thanks for the help dad." I said with a grateful voice.

"Anything for you Scarlet, see you in before the new year." He said then hung up. "Ruby we'll be having a guest tomorrow." I said with a smile. "Do you know who it is?" Ruby asked, damn I forgot. I look down and shake my head. "What am I going to do with you?" She said laughing.

The next day when we get up the couple have already arrived. Me and Ruby go to the front room, and I see someone I didn't think I would. "Good to see you again, Scarlet." Riser said getting up from his seat and extending his hand. I take it and we shake. "Good to see you too Riser, so you are the one who wants a child?" I asked looking from him to the women.

"Yes Mr Gremory has said you have theory you want to test so we volunteered. This is my queen and wife Yubelluna." He said with a proud voice. "Congratulations on the marriage, so are you ready?" I ask looking at them, they both had a massive grins on their faces, and nodded. "Ok follow us to my workshop, oh and this is Ruby my knight and girlfriend." I add forgetting they haven't met yet.

"It's a pleasure." Riser said with a nod of his head. "Same." Ruby smiled. We finally reach my workshop, and go inside. "So first things first, can you synchronise with each others powers?" I ask while getting some seats ready. "We've never tried to synchronise our powers." Riser said, then looked at Yubelluna. "Well we can try while Scarlet sets things up." She said making a ball of mana then Riser does the same.

Once I finished I look over to see they got what I meant, this might be easier then I realise. About half an hour later they managed to sync. "Now comes the hard part, you need to condense it to a microscopic level." I said looking at them, they just nod and start. A few hours later they managed it, I start the ovulation formula on Yubelluna. Once that's finished I take the microscopic mana and use my Eyes of Truth to guide it to the egg.

I guide it in and it seems to keep. "Ok so the egg seems to have taken the mana, now we will have to see what happens. I want Yubelluna to stay here until for a couple of weeks as a preclusion." I say looking at them.
