บท 5: Family fun time
Lee notice that the off light suddenly switch on and saw his wife looking at him fiercely he smile and asked "Darling is our children asleep?."
"What do you think its already 10 pm" his wife answered in a loud voice. He smile look at her with apologetic look and told her what happened.
Lee didn't mention some details like, he knows who will win and he also didn't mention about Nick.
Lee just said that Mark invited him at a cock battle and he got lucky, he told his wife he won 20,000 pesos, Lee showed the 20,000 pesos that he got from his first bet but didn't show the 340,000 pesos.
Lee keeps it buy himself, he plans to used it to buy some Game Helmet. Before Janet could talk he gave her wife the 15,000 pesos and told her that it is her reward for waiting him.
His wife mood changed from angry empression it became gentle and became a wide smile then she kissed him on his lips fiercely.
Lee thought he could score, but after the kissed Janet told him the he must go to sleep he has work tomorrow?.
Lee was prostrated but couldn't do anything so he just nodded sadly, he thought that he should leave his work as soon as possible.
They both went to bed and his wife felt asleep with a huge smile linger on her face, while Lee was still on a deep thought plannijg for the future until finally he felt asleep.
The next day Lee woke up, he look for his wife on his side fearing that what happen last day was just only dream.
Lee didn't see his wife, he touch his waist were he put the pouch bag the Nick gave him, and didn't found anything.
Lee felt disappointed, he touch his head talking off his game helmet but he notice that there is no helmet.
Lee felt joy surging thru his heart and after a moment of silence Lee was overjoyed when he saw the door openned. His 3 children runs to the side of his bed.
Lee asked his eldest son "Lex you've all wake up early why?" Lex said "Mom told us that we will go to the mall and have a shopping." "Yeah!! will go to Mall." said his second eldest with a slanted round eyes, it is not round actually but due to happiness he felt it looks like round.
Lee youngest son thou looks like sleepy, he has a wide smile and hug Lee to his waist "Daddy ice cream!!! ice cream!!!" he said.
Lee was speechless, but still he nodded his head, get of the bed and went to kitchen to look for his wife.
Lee saw his wife but before he could say anything Janet asked him, "Were did you get those money?" He thought for a while then he recalled the pouch bag and 340,000 pesos on it which is missing.
He figured out why her wife told there children that they are going to mall, Lee was about to reply afraid that Janet would be angry but before He could say a thing his wife asked "Are you selling drugs?."
Lee laughed and said "Obcourse not." Janet again asked with a doughtful look "How did you get that huge amount of cash."
Lee told Janet a lie and he said "I resigned from my work and got my back pay, then I went to try my luck and gambled it."
"What!!" said Janet with a shock voice then after a pause, she said "How are we going to survived?."
"We used it to engage into business." Lee told Janet, "You gambled with that cash knowing that it is you last pay check." asked Janet with an angry look on her face and was about to cry.
Before a tears fall from his wife's Lee comforted her and told her, "I didn't lose even if I lose I won't gamble all the money."
After a few moments of silence her wife replied "Ok I trust you then what we will do next." On Janet's thought she knows how much stress Lee acquired he even forgets to smile, so she really understsnd his husband.
Lee smiled and said "We will go to the mall!" he spoke like a child and copied the action of there youngest son. Janet said "Ok lets go!".
The family of Lee went to mall and bought an Ice cream they eat together, even went to an arcade and do some fun games.
Janet also enjoyed it. She told herself that this might be the last time they could enjoy, She must make a good memory out of it.
She thought that her husband lost his will and just give up on reality and let the destiny guide them, but on Lee thought they should enjoy because if the device was ready he will emerged himself from it and the time for his family will be lessen.

Lee phone rang, it is Mark on the other side of phone. Lee told his wife that he will go to the comport room. He walk away from his wife so that she wouldn't hear there conversation between Lee and Mark.
"Zup! bro." Lee answered the phone, Mark was anxious and asked him "What happened why you didn't attended at our work does something happened? our boss is looking for you."
Lee laugh casually and told Mark that he was going to resigned. "What?" Mark answer seems like his doesn't believe him, "I am going to resign and kindly told our boss about it, please." said Lee, Mark inhaled a deep breath and replied "Ok take care."
Lee decided not to take revenge on Mark, He just wan't to end there relationship as soon as he could, he can't stand to be with that guy, and he doesn't want to do anything to him.
Lee doesn't have a reason to do anything wrong to Mark, because Mark haven't done anything wrong to him so far. Lee just decided that he should avoid him.

"Boss finally that stupid Lee give up, how did he got the courage to challenge you." said Mark to his Boss.
Jane nodded with a smile, the cornered of her mouth swist which shows that she's smirking. Lee never found out that every action he made and everything he say was being reported with exaggeration by his best snake friend, but now it doesn't really matter Lee is free from the burden of his job.
