Stasis looked at the Dark Elf Assassin in front of him. 

Although the Assassin doesn't have a huge build, Stasis somehow felt that he was facing the four Sword Instructors of their Master Reiji when they were still at Bhibra Village.

This is why he had to take this seriously or he wouldn't know how he lost his head. 

"Vinete, stay behind me for now and support me if needed. I'd like to face this guy alone." Stasis spoke as held his sword.

"Alright, however, I will surely help you if I think that you're losing."

"Well, that's reassuring…"

Stasis smiled while slowly stepping forward.

This is the basic footwork of Kendo and he's doing this while not breaking his stance. 

Right now, his Zangetsu no Kamae or Crescent Moon Stance of Nitouryuu is very stable as he readies himself from being attacked.
