The next day.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), 9 AM.
"Sabrina! Mommy missed you so much!" Amanda greeted her daughter with a warm embrace, "You don't call me that much anymore," she pouted.
"I'm sorry Mom, I'll make it up to you I promise," Sabrina smiled as she comforted her mom.
"You better do. You have a lot to tell Miss," Her mom pulled away from her and glanced at Alexander meaningfully.
"I'll tell you everything later," Sabrina whispered to her. She turned to her grandparents and welcomed them with a warm hug, "I missed the both of you so much," she said.
"Tss," Ysabel, her grandmother scoffed, "You don't even visit us," she said.
"You brat, just because you found yourself a boyfriend you have forgotten all about us," George, her grandfather added.
"Don't say that," Sabrina said. She immediately placed a kiss on both of their cheeks to woo them, "You know that I love the both of you so much," she pouted.
"This brat," Ysabel smiled at Sabrina.
"What about me? Don't I get a hug?" Javier complained.
"No!" Sabrina answered, "I will never forget how you sold me to Alexander before," she narrowed her eyes on him
Sabrina will never forget that day, where she straight up told Alexander that her father won't let her live with him but she ended up embarrassing herself in front of him because her father entrusted her to Alexander immediately.
He was even excited about them living together!
"Come on baby, if daddy didn't do that you guys won't be together!" Javier defended himself from her daughter.
"Ha! I'm still mad," Sabrina rolled her eyes while she crossed her arms.
Javier immediately hid behind Alexander, "Look at your future wife, are you sure you can handle that?" he asked him.
Alexander can't help it but chuckle. He suddenly felt warm inside while watching them. Sabrina's family looked very happy and close, but he can't help it but feel a bit envious inside too.
This was the family he wished he had when he was a kid.
"Don't worry Uncle, I can manage," Alexander answered with a warm smile on his face.
"Enough now, I'm really hungry. Let's eat breakfast first and continue the talk there," Grandma Ysabel said.
Alexander immediately offered his help on carrying their luggage. The family boarded the Ferrari 360 Modena Stretched Limousine he had prepared for them.
"Are you into cars Alexander?" Grandfather George asked Alexander during their ride.
"Yes Sir, I have a few collections back in my house," Alexander answered.
"Oh call me grandpa please," George said, "Once we get home would you mind to show me your cars?" he asked.
"Of course S… Grandpa," Alexander smiled. He wasn't used to speaking these kinds of terms, but it felt very warm to have someone to call grandpa.
Sabrina noticed Alexander's expression immediately and a smile formed on her face. She clung her arm on Alexander's and intertwined her fingers with his. She rested her head on his shoulders, "Happy?" she asked him.
"Mhmm," Alexander responded with a nod. He rubbed his thumb against Sabrina's hand and held it tightly. The atmosphere felt really nice.
After 15 minutes, the group finally arrived at their destination. Alexander reserved a table for them at a famous English Breakfast Restaurant in LA called 'Casuale Café'.
Casuale Café was famous in LA because a lot of big time Hollywood stars like Brad Pitt, Chris Hemsworth, and many more frequented there. The interior design of the restaurant adapted the 15th century style which gave off a renaissance vibe.
"So tell us your plans," Amanda, Sabrina's mother asked while they ate, "You guys are both in a healthy age for marriage already," she added.
Alexander wiped his mouth before he started talking, "Me and Sabrina just talked about it yesterday," he said, "We agreed to have a simple garden wedding."
"We want to keep it low-key," Sabrina said, "We will only invite close friends and family," she added.
"Do you have any place in mind already?" her mother asked.
"We are thinking of Descanso Gardens," Sabrina answered.
"But why do you want to keep it low-key? You don't plan to go public?" George asked.
"We want to keep our relationship private first," Alexander answered, "Given our jobs, publicizing our relationship needs timing," he added.
"But I think it's about time to announce your real identity, Sabrina. It's time to face your responsibilities as the heir of the Walker family," she said.
"Mom, you don't have to pressure Sabrina," Javier said.
"But it has been too long already Javier. A lot of businessmen think that the Walker Empire is nearing its end because of the lack of an heir," Ysabel said, "She can't stay hidden forever Javier."
"Don't worry grandma. I'm not forgetting my responsibilities," Sabrina said, "After shooting this movie, I plan to publicly announce everything," she added.
"You know that you don't have to do that Sabrina," Amanda held Sabrina's hand, "We're not pressuring you," she said.
Sabrina smiled at her mom, "It's fine mom, I have enjoyed my life long enough now. I can't neglect my other responsibilities. It's about time for dad to retire and enjoy his retirement life too."
Everybody had a pleasant breakfast talking about Sabrina's childhood. Alexander can't help it but laugh at their stories about the young Sabrina. Starting from how she used to bathe herself with her food, to throwing tantrums and how she wore her own diaper on her head.
Sitting there, Alexander felt like he belonged. He was warmly welcomed by this family. His heart felt really happy.
After they ate, they all went straight home to get some rest. They had a very long flight after all.
While the elders slept, Sabrina and Alexander spent their time in the garden. They were both seated on a bench, holding hands while staring at the beautiful blue skies.
"Are you really going to give up your career?" Alexander suddenly asked Sabrina.
"I guess?" she answered with a hint of uncertainty in her voice.
"But don't you love acting?" Alexander asked.
"I do, I really do," Sabrina responded, "But my responsibilities as a Walker are important too. Grandma is right, Dad is already getting old and I think that it's about time for him to retire and enjoy his life with mom," she said.
"Won't you miss it?"
"I will for sure. Acting is a big part of my life, it won't be that easy to let it go," Sabrina answered.
Holding her hand, Alexander suddenly fell into a deep thought.
Weeks ago when he went back to City A, he flash established an entertainment agency for Sabrina. But now that she was talking about retiring, what was he supposed to do with Sonrisa Entertainment?
