บท 228: A sliver of understanding

Zhang Wang still remembered what happened to Sikong Ren and the ensuing destruction that followed after claiming his buff.

And though he did not know Sen Siyu nearly as much as he knew Sikong Ren, he would not wish such a fate upon someone that fought along his side.

But the issue first was getting everyone out of the fray and convincing them to leave the battlefield. Because if what happened to Sikong Ren would come to pass, then Sen Siyu would not be the only casualty from the resulting blast. 

There had been many that didn't survive back then. Zhang Wang made sure to pick up the pace, shouting at his comrades to get away and leave the battle with the power of the divine. 

Sen Siyu as the God of the Mountain Roads had a calm demeanor, his face set in everlasting tranquility. Such was his appearance to mortals; a dependable guide that forged paths through the steepest cliffs.
