บท 175: Consider it done

It had always been a matter of time.

But his patience had been, over time, running out.

The one who wore Beast Master Wei's skin had their head veered to the sky, vision already gone blurred. The starlight twinkled with the keen scent of ash and soot still heavy in the air. 

Their foes had gone and cleared out the dust from the sky, revealing a marvelous glittering night. But they knew better. They always did.

They sunk down beside a tree, resting the back of their head against its trunk. Deep breaths. Not that it mattered, this body was far past its limits. The shiny golden stone armor had fallen off, revealing red, peeling skin and 

They decided to wander as far away from the mountain as possible. This was not because they particularly cared about being found, but simply because they thought it would be amusing to hide any vestiges of a clue behind.

It was more fun this way.

A cruel smile lifted their lips.
