บท 93: Final Trials Part- 27 Continuous Development

Zash, Havier and Estr along with their Knights reached their destination safely without meeting any problems due to Zash managing the course of their journey.

Much to Erwin's delight, watching everyone come back safe and sound.

There was nothing more he could ask for.

"Was your trip fruitful ?" Edwin enquired

"Yes" everyone replied

"Good"

After getting back Zash and his family spent his last 3 days with Edwin's family, talking about all sorts of things and familiarizing with eachother while Zash didn't have much to share he wasn't a party pooper and did his best to keep the mood pleasant in his own ways.

Zash and Edwin also took notice of the reports coming from within their own empire and. Everything seemed to be going well.

Only some minor issues were left to deal with but that wasn't all as Zash still had much to do.

"Hoho seems like people are linking your food more and more, ... also if the data shown is correct then within a month we will recover 1/10 th of our investment over some of the stores we've established... not that it matters much anyway." Edwin said casually while shrugging his shoulders.

While this amount would have him dazed and drooling a few months ago he was now quite used to it, a side effect from seeing too much wealth, at first Edwin could still remember how his very mind had gotten numb when he saw the almost full treasury Fully littered with all sorts of Objects mostly it consisted of Platinum Coins and other rare objects be it plants or Scrolls or Armours they had it all !

An unbelievable amount of wealth, Edwin easily estimated that probably only their Empire had this much wealth and to his shock and surprise now 4 More additional Underground Treasuries were being built and solidified from inside out and each were bigger than the latter ones.

Just thinking about such matters gave him stress.

So he did the only logical thing he could do.

He simply ignored the issue and focused on things he can handle, like letters relating to his own empire and help with the ongoing humongous construction projects Zash was implementing as time goes by.

New Institutes for education and personal handling along with waste distortion and disposal teams were issued and a grand infrastructure was bring made a Hundred times bigger than the current one in place so there's a lack of hands everywhere.

'haa so much work seems like he isn't planning to take a rest anytime soon.' Edwin shook his head as he looked towards Zash completely immersed in his own work, continuing to do his paperwork while his parents would sometime chime in and have small talks here and there.

The next day Edwin Showed the people around his homeland and all his secret spots where he played, slept and Trained as a kid along with his friends some who had left, some who died, eventually he had lost many a friends due to the internal conflicts within their feuds Edwin reminiscently visited those spots whole speaking about his experiences with everyone,

While it wasn't much it gave everyone the kind of person Edwin was and maybe this was also a reason for him not visiting his homeland for so long. Fate played him like. Fool he abandoned everything for love and only a few trinkets of his memories remain aside from his family that is. It was already a wonder how he's not broken yet

Nobody spoke much aside from some simple questions when the day was over as they visited quite a few spots and met a few local families, the reason for such a long time was from Edwin to relive his past memories once again if not for that Zash could have flown them all and it might have taken just a few hours but Zash and everyone knew that this was Edwin's moment to be and silently accompanied him.

The sun started shining with a bright red hue indicating it's fall and soon everyone came back to the main Mansion.

Zash started making dinner for everyone while seemingly guiding other chefs out of his own goodwill,

Soon everyone had eaten their stomachs full they went to sleep.

The temperature in the Mountainous City was way below the guards and other personnel were used to so they tucked in their blankets and slept like they died.

Morning came and everyone went with their preparation and said their goodbyes as they had overstayed their stay and as they had much to do back home

"Alright goodbye Everyone " Edwin said waving his hands towards his family.

"Mhm we wish you safety while travelling. Write us a few more letters if possible" Edwin's father and mother said while helping them load a few things.

"Mom dad what are you worried about ? We have a Saint with us what can ever happen to us " Edwin said playfully

"Mnn that's true it's truly sad that you have to go so soon but it's asking for too much to make you stay when you have so much work at your kingdom." Edwin's father said patting his son's shoulder and looked towards Zash and Estr.

"Make sure to come again though we will be waiting for your return visit." He said while looking towards his grandsons

"Yes Grandfather We'd like to meet you again as well, please come find us at our kingdom whenever you feel like it !" Estr exclaimed and did a slightly bowing jesture.

"Oh yes do come visit us as the empire might become a truly busy place in a few years, it'll be good to have you around, on second thought I recommend you all come to live in the Empire sooner or later." Zash added while he too did a casual bow and got on top of his carriage

Nobody minded his rude actions and after a few parting words made their way back to Crystal Heart Empire.

Similarly they backtracked the way they previous came from and made some adjustments through the course they took to get here, the roads were much familiar to Zash and the Troops as while Zash was familiar with them the Knights were even more knowledgeable about the paths than him.

Passing through their previous campsites they similarly enjoyed themselves, the time they spent was full of enjoyment as every time they set up camp theyre'd be joyous atmosphere all around, when they rested they'd hunt and scavenge for wild animals and Fruits, figs and vegetables occasionally they'd stop and take turns fishing every now and then, which was perfect for Edwin, Estr and Zash as the trio liked line fishing with some customers made rods by Zash.

They enjoyed the time spent besides eachother then at the end of the day they'd gather and help with preparing the food while Zash advised them with their tasks.

Not to mention their fulfilling stomachs they felt healthier and stronger compared to before and had become slightly more cheerful as even the roughest of royal guards sometimes could be seen smiling slightly.

At night they slept securely as Zash took the guarding post and slept during the day on top of his carriage.

At first it was heavily protested by everyone as Zash as still young and he shouldn't develop such bad sleeping habits but after Zash explained his intention to let the guards have some rest everyone finally decided to let him guard one night each till they reach the kingdom and thus with much fun and enjoyment the group was steadily making their way back home.

At night when everyone was sleeping Zash took a look around and double checked the traps around the camp with much care and then started cultivating.

Streams of milky White Yin Essenes started merging with Zash's aura

Which was directly absorbed through the moon Zash even let his Essense merge with the food and hence let the group gain some additional vitality to make them healthier but not so excessive to make them addicts, it was just enough to let them live a more flexible lifestyle, not to the scale of a superhuman but not any lesser either.

Zash breathed the Yin Essense in and let out normal air cleaning his internal organs and turning his Essenes reserves more solid.

His past gains came in handy as the invisible energy extended the energy collection radius around him making him get more energy with more effeciency thereby increasing his cultivating speed by several times.

Zash was steadily approaching Peak of Core Formation stage at a pace visible to the eyes.

Zash's current facial expression had a calm smile all over him as the invisible wall had chipped down by more than a quarter making his progress even more quicker when he used the strange strands of energy he gained through his previous enlightenment.

Now whenever Zash cultivated he'd them start processing the Essence with this additional energy which Zash had termed 'Enlightenment Force' to temper it once again and only then would he re-refine the Essenes to his foundations.

The night passed slowly the Yin Essenes being gathered formed a heavy blanket of fog around the group and as the Temperature fell the group huddled up in their sleeping bags in extreme comfort.

Perhaps this was another thing responsible for the group's cheerfulness during the day, they had started to receive proper care and treatment along with good nourishing food and a lot of social interactions during the journey had did a wonder on them if compared to everyone's past self.

Javier had gotten even more accustomed to the iron hearts sometimes Zash would even hear her her trying to call Edwin father in law and him as little brother in a silent voice as if she was practicing beforehand making him smirk and tease Estr 'honey' who would be at a loss at what to do and could only let his little brother make a joke of himself and smile in dumb manner as sometimes Javier would utter half a sentences out of practice making him smile wider each time.

"Say you two how about we build a small lake for us to fish when we go back ?" Edwin asked.

"Good Idea I was wondering the same thing, as it turns out I love fishing outside." Estr nodded as well.

"There's no need we just have to extend the river and make use of some unused properties to make one for us, believe me naturally occurring sources are plenty a time more greater than readymade sources also I recon the fishes have a clear difference between grown and wild ones... I'll see what I can do but it should be done or at least on the way at the end of this month." Zash added to which both nodded and smiled then started idle chatting to pass on the time,

The pathway got more and more firm as they kept going, indicating that it's well used and soon the borders of Crystal Heart Empire were visible.

"Finally we are back." Zash said lickings his lips as he had more things piled up for a few years at least, only then could he be assured about the next steps.

Bit Zash wasn't worried and didn't rush the things that should've been made in their proper order.

It was necessary to build a slow and steady pathway for the long term prosperity of this kingdom. And it wasn't due to the system or because he expected a reward, it was genuine care he had for the kingdom and it's people.

Zash and everyone got back and returned to their work Zash introduced Lapis around the empire and his room which she found more mesmerising than the entire empire because it really was a marvelous wonder filled with unique machines, equipment and art pieces which she couldn't imagine existed in this world.

Edwin helped Zash for an entire month before finally getting some time off from the piled up paperwork which kept increasing these few weeks.

While they were considerably less and we'll organized from before as Zash had changed their way of wordings even, it wasn't the quantity that bothered Edwin bit the brainwork involved as such Edwin really has to give them a thorough thinking and sometimes even wait for Zash to clearify some new business ventures and new terms Zash used.

Doing things in such format gave Edwin a broader vision of the busines world. It let him to understand the thinking of the common people from the salesman prospective.

Estr and Zash returned to their regular training routine, each time they sparred sparks would fly around the training grounds and winds would howl spreading the word of their ongoing dual.

Each time they sparred an experienced observer could discern that they truly were geniuses in their own rights as their strength grew with each passing day, almost visibly.

This invoked the fighting spirit among the Experienced Knights and Assassins even and they got to training as soon as possible.

From these traini sessions they each got a hang if a few things, like when to expect a move and when to use specific amount to strength in moves, how to make full use of the environment and counter and look for weaknesses and how to strengthen their targeted attack along with developing their own unique attack pattern.

Their improvement in a short while was nothing short of Monstrous bro to mention with Zash guiding them and helping them with potions and pills which improved their Physical/Mental/Soul strength.

In at most a year Zash was guaranteed to get all of not most of the Knights to get to the Black knight standards while Zash also began training the already existing Experts in a robust manner, when Edwin asked why he was doing so he didn't explain much "those who have talent don't requireto out more effort while those who lack talent make it up with Efforts only and that's how everyone becomes equal but what if those that are talented enough also start training twice as hard ?" his words were short but clearer making Edwin ponder over them before he finally understood the deeper meaning they carried.

Progress went on all around the Empire and the living conditions all around the Empire started improving leading to less public criticism, at the same time they attracted the wary eyes from many hostile forces.

But they couldn't suspect anything as Zash's way of doing things were just so meticulous and innovative that nobody could even think about them. After all Zash was a person who was born in a world without a rich and wonderful history spanning for more than 20000+ years, adding to the fact that Zash had lived for more than 11000 years Zash could be said to be invincible in planning and technical skills amongst everyone present in the world.

The development phase was just starting and Zash started by changing the social outlook while Developing infrastructure and inducing change on a huge scale.

"I almost completely forgot I have to make a few adjustments hmm on second thought it could still wait." Zash muttered to himself and went back to what he was doing.

Author : so first of all I'd like to say sorry for the Wait. I know new year has gone by and I said I'd write, bit lots of shitty things happened, my exams are due in 1-3 months, my Aunt and Grandma had health complications so I had to give that all a look so I had almost no time but I had a few breathing time later, I had even forgotten about the novel during this stressful time so i thaught I'd clearify,
