บท 113: The Evil Sisters

"What's happening here? Why are the elders looking bitter?" A young lady stood on one side as she held the hand of an older woman.

"Hmph! The Duke might have brought home a woman of unknown origin, that's why they're acting like that!" Bai Feng Jiu indignantly said as she glared at the carriage parked in the entrance of the Qu residence.

Bai Feng Jiu was the mistress of the young Duke's father. She holds a significant amount of power in the Qu residence as she was the only woman who had a relationship with the young Duke's father. The Duke of Xin also didn't treat her badly and was considerate of her as he let her do as she wanted.
