บท 18: Chapter Thirteen

Damien's PoV

I can feel my anger pulsating, but I have to fight it. I very nearly ruined everything for my father by hitting him. I regret it, and he can't know about what I've done. I let out a sigh, turning my head to face the clock by the bed, and cupping my head in my hands. I said some pretty bad shit yesterday, and I did horrible things from anger. I hurt Penny and I honestly don't know if he'll forgive me this time, and it terrifies me at the thought of him leaving.

I can feel the tears forming in my eyes as a lump fills my throat. I try to swallow it, moving my hands from my face as I breathe in deeply, letting out a soft exhale to calm myself down. A weight is pushing itself against my body as I push myself up from the bed and leave my room. I glance back at the bed, sighing as I notice he wasn't there, and I slowly stalk away from my room. It's silent within the house, and I can feel my heart dropping and throbbing with loneliness. All I need is some alcohol, it's all I need.

Biography: Damien had been a delinquent between the ages of 9 and 15, he was an extreme alcoholic and drug addict until Penyamaran entered his life. Within a few months of getting to know Penny, he began to slowly turn himself away from Drugs and Alcohol, and later they began to date. However, Damien wasn't a very loyal boyfriend and still very often went out with college kids and came back pissed, drunk and usually with another woman or man. After every night he would fuck someone else, he wouldn't immediately regret it, until he couldn't find anything but a note from Penny wishing him a good day.

Damien lived with several college kids as roommates, as long as some kids his own age from his school. Penyamaran often stayed the night there with him and his roommates to avoid his father whenever he was mad or stressed because of work.

Damien began to stray further from Penny during their relationship, and during a bad month for him and his boyfriend, they split and Damien relied on drugs and alcohol to keep him going. Fortunately, Penyamaran's father got Damien into Rehab, with a condition that he would marry his son and run his, and Damien's father's companies, merging them together.

After a rough few months in Rehab, he and Penny ended up getting back together. After a few years of loyalty to Penyamaran, they entered college and the deal between him and his father began to pressure him. Later coming to know that Penny hated having sex as frequently as Damien craved it, he began to cheat almost every single night, and later proposed to him when they left college.

And this leads up to this point in time, where he's returning to his alcoholism.
