บท 314: EPISODE 94: Beginning of the End!*
Once the battle of the sea and land finished, as aforementioned by the myths of Hoenn, the titans were calmed and they were able to channel their destructive power. They returned to their tombs as a mysterious force sealed them. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, the three of them fell back to sleep.
I have no clue what kind of force was able to seal the tombs of the titans, but one thing's for sure, I'll find out one day. With the titans gone and the havoc stopped, everyone was relieved as they dropped tired on the floor, gasping for air after that lethargic night.
The people of Hoenn rejoiced, especially the people involved in this large plan. (Champion, Elite Four, trainers, gym leaders, and other agents) All was well with the help of teamwork. Though most may seem comfortable after the events that just took place, there was one particular woman who was still frightened.
She flew to me atop her Altaria, saying, "The meteorite."
"What about it?"
"Don't tell me you forgot?!"
"Oh right. I remember now, don't worry about it, everything will be fine." I patted Zinnia's shoulders.
At the Hoenn Desert, Rayquaza departed me so I could reunite with Jenny and Vizion. Upon stepping down from its back, Rayquaza transformed itself back to its original form. The gym leaders, and my friends were awed to see the Rayquaza. The dragon even let me pat its head before leaving.
"Thank you." I smiled at Rayquaza while petting its head. It made cooing noises before leaving and returning to its tower.
"Luna!" Jenny called from afar as she rushed to me then hugged me closely. Her hug was tight to the point I couldn't breathe, though it was able to give me warmth and affection.
Now arrives, the latecomers from the helicopter who descended down to the desert as well. They were late since they had to pick up Melody, Winona, the twins, and Wallace from their respective locations. At least, in the end, we were able to reunite.
I also got an email from Professor Olive, asking us to return immediately to headquarters. I gave my coordinates and like always, Xeryll will pick us up in a few minutes.
"Luna!" then comes Logan who jumped off the helicopter and rushed to me.
"Are you alright?!" he asked.
"Of course. Hmm, why do you seem to be concerned about my welfare?" I asked suspiciously with a smug on my face.
"What?! Hey, whatever you're thinking, it's not true." Logan quickly doubted with a slight pinkish blush on his cheeks. I then chuckled softly at him.
And amongst these latecomers is an unsuspected visit from a Team Magma Elite Operative. She walked closer to me and stumbled upon my shoulders, losing consciousness in front of everyone. She was injured, her body was punctured with glass from every corner of her limb, every inch of her abdomen.
"Charlotte?!" I panicked as Vizion, Zeal, Copper, and Melody dashed to me to help aid Charlotte. Out of nowhere, she reappeared, and once her consciousness returns, I wish to ask questions at her.
"Hey isn't that-"
"Yes, she is." I interrupted Copper's words.
"We'll wait for Xeryll to come and there we will aid her." Melody instructed as she stretched Charlotte's limbs on the ground.
Meanwhile, hiding behind a cactus, Zinnia watched everyone smiling. Beside her is her Aster who was also watching. She was a bit sad, a bit disappointed. She thought of me as a woman who didn't care because of the way I reacted to her words when she alerted me once more about the meteorite.
"Let them laugh and have fun for now. They know not of what is ahead of them. Come on Aster, we have to return to Rayquaza immediately." Zinnia said, and without even greeting us, she flew off with her dragon Pokemon and I was only able to catch a silhouette of her leaving.
While everyone was hugging and cheering, laughing, and smiling, my mind was wondering what made her snob us all of a sudden. I for one knew she's mad and this won't be the last time we'll be meeting again.
"Good work everyone." Steven complimented. The crowd of gym leaders, elites, us, and trainers, clapped our hands, sighing in relief after that nightmare. As for the spikes, it shrunk down to the size of atoms, never to be seen again.
"I have good news for all of you, the repairing cost for all the damages dealt by this conflict is only less than a million. I also talked to our fellow jet fighters here, and according to them, Team Magma and Team Magma is officially over since they have no leaders.
I thank everyone for cooperating. The secret squadron of the Pokemon International Police has been working in the shadows for all this time, acting as grunts of the two organizations. Now, they have revealed themselves to the public and will be responsible for dealing with the rest of the grunts from both organizations.
As for Team Rocket, on behalf of the Hoenn Conference, I hereby announce that you are free from guilt and any charges for breaking the laws of our region but once we've heard you've caused another commotion then I believe that will be the time to capture you.
Of course, I have good news for the trainers, not only for the five of you but for the trainers of the whole region. The Hoenn Conference will continue, thus we want all of you to prepare for the upcoming Pokemon League.
And, one last thing to address. I believe this is the only beginning of the end. Amidst the chaos, the Mossdeep Space Station detected a meteorite heading straight for Earth. Rest assured, I will handle this. They have a rocket ship and I will be glad to aboard it later at around six in the afternoon." declared, the great champion of Hoenn.
His last paragraph was the price for Team Rocket. The rocket ship, it will definitely be ours for somewhere in that meteorite contains the powerful Deoxys.
