Daniel Sapiro on the other hand stands up, he extend his arm to reach for Santina's hand and accept her handshake
"Thank you for seeing me."
He reaches out to shake Mikael hand as well.
Mikael sees him to the door, but Daniel pauses.
"Look, I don't want you to think that I . . ."
It's not quite right, so he begins again.
"I honestly thought that I . . ."
Santina seems to know what the other party is trying to say.
"Daniel, I understand. Look, it's a tough situation all around, and I know you and your boys all have so much to do—"
"No, it's not like that.. It is just that,"
Daniel says, shaking his head.
"When I found out about the last boy, I just . . . It's not . . . acceptable. And I didn't want you to think that it didn't matter to me."
He looks at Mikael.
"Both of you." He picks up his umbrella and quickly folds it up.
"Well, good night."
Mikael closes the door behind him.
