บท 137: Holy Knight Empress (3)

Elder Altmer was sweating profusely on the side of the tent as he fiddled with the apples on his palms. After a while, he heard the rushing footsteps from outside. "Y-Your Majesty," he hid the apples on his pockets making sure that no one, not even the guards, could see a part of it.

"Shush! The council will do as I say!" The emperor emphasized his point with his hand raised. His face was unimaginable as the news that the empress had severe injuries reached him. 

"Wouldn't it be foolish to leave a weapon outside the Empress' tent? Haven't you thought that it could have been a set-up?" He rushed to his side not minding the hand raised against his face. 

The Emperor's face grew even dimmer and he gave off a scoff. Elder Altmer stopped walking. The face of the emperor tells him that he knows it. "Suit yourself." With a tap from his feet, the elder flew away and did not even look back as the emperor shouted.
