บท 40: Kaito's Choice

"What do you want, River?" Roselyn asked angrily as she jerked her hand out of his hand as soon as they appeared in some lone part of North Tower that was completely unfamiliar to her, not like she was familiar with the tower at all to begin with.

River showed his hands into his pants pockets before he turned to face her. He still looked like he was ready to freeze her to death but at the very same time, there was a fire in his icy eyes that was meant to melt her.

Roselyn had to look away from his dazzling eyes to not become a prey of his hold over her that seemed to made her submit to him despite her hatred toward him.

River suddenly stepped closer to her and it took every bit of her willpower to not step back despite his intimidating aura that seemed too overpowering to be ignored. Either he was too mad about something to pay attention to himself or it was just his another trick of playing with her.
